Re: "Walking Dead" New Cable Series

Cool, my recording cut off at that and I didn't see any credits. Dang TIVO. LOL. At-least your DVR worked correctly. I got to watch right up to where Rick carried Carl into Hershel's house and then my DVR switched itself to comedy central and recorded the next 45 minutes of that retarded Dane Cook ...

Re: New Rabbit Hunter, Need Advice

I've been hunting rabbits and squirrels since I was 10 years old, and I've never used anything bigger than a .410. I own an older NEF single shot .410 that takes 2 3/4" or 3" shells. I am a big fan of the Federal Premium shotgun ammunition. Get some in #5, or #6 size shot and you can't go wrong. The...

Re: Great hut idea as seen on travel channel.

When I was a senior in high school, we built a sod house similar to this one for our construction class Sod House to show alternative building designs. It stood for 7 years in the front of my high school until some new administrators decided that it wasn't how they wanted the school to look and had ...

Re: 4 Hrs in the ER & 4 Stitches

Glad it ended well for you. I just came off something similar but I caught my hand on my smoker's hot grill bracket and ripped a 3 1/2 inch gash into my hand that required 9 stitches and 2 weeks of antibiotics. I had the same problem with blood running everywhere but I had my wife constantly nagging...

Re: My own Zombie Response Unit..

Nice alternative. Do you have to have a different license for a scooter? One last edit: What is the insurance like on something like that? Neat looking ride for sure... When I rode one of those in Phoenix I wasn't required to have a different license that the one everyone already had... And I'm not...

Re: Flavored rootbeers? or other sodas

One of the places I get bottled soda that has a wide variety of flavors and styles is BevMo. The last time I was there I left with a rootbeer sampler pack that had 10 bottles of 5 different kinds of rootbeer in it.I also usually end up getting some Filberts Banana or Watermelon soda and/or every fla...

It was a great car that still runs great to this day... 1977 Chevrolet 4x4 - with a very low geared 4 speed that was rustier than it had a right to be, so I didn't care ab...

Re: THE NEW B.O.V. Tire thread:

I have a set of Hankook Dynapro ATM in 255/70r16 that I got mounted, balanced, and out the door for $720. They are an excellent set of tires that I have put through hell for over 3 years now. I've drove them from Yuma to Phoenix, Yuma to San Diego dozens of times without a problem, many times pullin...

That stuff is pretty durable, I've had several pairs of their pants for years that I've used to hunt in all kinds of terrain, and they've held up quite well...

I agree with Gallagher, as long as you can avoid things like ditches or debris that could harm the vehicle then go for it, if it turns out that there are more the 5 or 6 once you get closer then revaluate wither or not it is worth it the proceed... If there are only 5 or 6 then take them from a dist...

This movie's ok, but my only real problem with this movie is that the "zombies" have a tendency to occasionally break out into song and dance, that and the damn singing redneck that kept racapping what happened every other scene...
Other than that I thought it was a decent movie...
