Re: $399 new AR-15

It would probably last you long enough to get a real AR-15. I would feel woefully underarmed though.

Re: Zombie Survival Test

I declare this test bunk. Thanks for making it, but it says I'll only last a few weeks to a few months before running out of supplies, so therefore it's completely inaccurate. Not gonna happen. The quiz-maker also seems to have a thing for blunt weapons. This isn't the Walking Dead. It's not that ea...

Re: strangest thing you have ever seen

1995... still in high school, coming home from a night of work at the bingo hall snack bar I used to work in. My friend Son was driving. We decided to take a country road as a shortcut since traffic was blocked up on the farm road we usually took to get home. The road was pitch black and rarely trav...

Re: From Dusk Till Dawn: Repeating Crossbow Demystified

None of you steal my idea... I've had it for quite sometime. The power must be stored in the bolts themselves. Imagine a Chinese sleeve dart. Each bolt could be loaded under extreme spring tension in its own sacrificial cartridge. It would be magazine-fed. The trigger would simply trip the mechanism...

Re: My KHHI "Scourge" Khukuri Arrived!

Very cool! I would definitely round that choil/hilt off a bit. I would also want G-10 handles. Not a big fan of wood.

Re: Any opinion on the CS Chaos Tanto ?

My personal experience with CS knives:

I've purchased about 8 of them, of the 8, 6 saw use. Those 6 broke or catastrophically failed within a very short period of time. Save up and buy something better.

Re: All purpose "Help me build my AR" thread.

I have the dreaded black rifle disease. I've built ten AR-15s in the past year. All of which would be considered top-tier or at the very least "nearing top-tier". After I slapped my first lower together and then mated it to a Daniel Defense complete URG, I was hooked. Now I build everything from par...

Re: PREP FAILURE: THE WALL OF SHAME

I had just met a girl a week before Hurricane Ike hit. She lived alone in a small apartment and was afraid so I volunteered to stay over for the night. I brought my Maxpedition Falcon II, full of mostly clothes, a couple of flashlights, a XD-45C with one extra mag, a dozen CR123s, and some condoms. ...

Welcome from Houston

I actually joined around 2005 but I lost my login info. I've felt the overwhelming need to hone my mind and body into the ultimate weapon for as long as I can remember (serious training started at seven). I've sensed that the end may be near for most of my life. My brother and I always referred to w...
