Re: Workout of the Day

Hey y'all. It's been a while since I've been on. Sorry. Good news: I've dropped 5% body fat and have put on 11lbs of muscle. I do more cardio than anything but stuck to lifting. Therefore, my weight hasn't changed. I know, I know. But my pants are fitting better and my strength and stamina have sign...

Re: Workout of the Day

Jogged for a bit today. Then pumped it up with a pretty sweet chest/back workout. Good day.

Tomorrow morning, however, I start Insanity  . I'll keep you posted on how THAT goes.

Re: Workout of the Day

I been training for the Tough Mudder in Austin this fall. Lots of cardio and core for me. My latest stats: Weight: 288 Body Fat: 27.4% Muscle Mass: 199.6 lbs There's more, but I only remember them off-hand. They put me up on some fancy scale and gave it to me. I'm pretty sure it's not as accurate as...

Re: Workout of the Day

I need to get my crossfit on. It looks pretty intense.

Today I got on the elliptical for what seemed like an eternity, speed bag for 6 rounds, heavy bag for 6 rounds. Then one round each of jumping jacks and high knees.

Then I did some ab work and sat in the sauna for about 15 minutes.

I'm sure that some of THESE would help stall any invaders.

Re: Home Invasion or RAID?

I don't think police raids are a bad idea. They work. They catch bad guys and, most recently, are taking apart a human smuggling ring. I think the problem is when criminals get their hands on police uniforms (and body armor, shields, tactical clothing, etc.) and bust through the door screaming "POLI...

Re: Home Invasion or RAID?

This problem is only getting worse. Especially along the border. (Pseudo cops, home invasions, etc. The no-knock warrants have been kept to a minimum because of it.)

I checked on their facebook page. They apparently just cranked out some other lowers. I would imagine ours will be done soon.

Re: MilCopp 2012 Carbine II class, June 9-10

ETA: L1zard, my wife is cool with having a huge Mexican firefighter crash at our house the Wednesday before MilCopp (that would be the 7th of June IIRC). So, if you can make it, you can drive from McAllen Wednesday, sleep here that night (we got a nice guest bedroom, but it's next to the room our s...

Colt 1911 World War I commemorative. It's been beat up by previous owners. (It's not mine, I was originally tasked to clean it, now I can't let my GF's best friend carry a possibly fatally flawed handgun) http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r166/l1z4rd/usable6.jpg http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r...

Lastone, does the belt hook up to the chest rig? Or will you be needing a set of suspenders?

Re: "Walking Dead" Cable Series

Well, I've caught up on Season 3 of We're Alive; A story of survival, a serial podcast that's a little more 28 days later than living dead, but I'm probably a bigger fan of that, story wise than of the Walking dead... Also, Mad Men is up and running again.... And yeah, it's not zombies... but it ha...
