Re: What Did You Do Today To Prepare?

Met my weekly goal of working on my cadillac at least once. I have met a goal everyday this month, either working on the car, working out at the gym, or gun training.

Re: General Fitness Discussion thread

Did a back and bicep workout. Man am I weak. But on the positive side there is lots of room for growth. I can improve. Did conventional deadlift only up to 275 for a double. Not a max double, but tough enough. The good news is my shoulders handled it ok, good enough I may try some light squats later...

Re: The Official ZS DEBTSQUAD: BODY COUNT thread.

This is the bad kind of post. I raised a new zombie. Got a new to me 2006 toyota prius. I traded in my paid for heap and 500 down. The positive is that I got the prius for fair market value, according to web sites. The bad, it will cost me 300 more in car payment a month and about 40 more in insuran...

Brought home a new daily driver today. A 2006 Toyota Prius. Fairly loaded with gps and other stuff. Indicated mpg over the first 25-30 miles is right at 46. About 3 times better than my old daily driver.

Re: Zombies Won't Hear You Coming In A Prius

As for the quiet part some cars are naturally more quiet than others. Was at a swap meet for old cars and backed into the aisle trying to take a picture. I heard a subtle honk of a horn and a running 59 caddy limo was sitting there trying to get by me. Dude I had to listen to hear that it was runni...

Just had to say it. To be on topic I want a nice enfield. Probably going to have to buy a new car so gun budget may get pretty small.

Re: General Fitness Discussion thread

Still working on the diet and the schedule. I figure I can get the working out set up right first. Not saying I am not trying to eat better, but the activity has to be there. Plus I have fitness/performance goals as my main goals. Weight is secondary right now while I figure things out. My main focu...

Re: Basic Fitness for Firearms Enthusiasts and Other Humans

I am working on integrating my fitness and firearms training. Right now it is just doing them both in the same week. MWF weights and cardio, TThSat grip and dry or live fire. I am just getting back into the groove and this is only my second week back at working out. In fact right now my heart is pro...

Did not test it because it was at work, but we had some cream cheese dated to 2010 I think it was, or possibly a little older. It was easily 2-3 years old anyway. It appeared to not have changed or degraded. Because we serve our clients I could not in good conscience use it, but I think it was ok. T...

One of the clients, that we had to talk to about hygiene, had a leaking problem this week. She was marking her territory because it was that time of the month. And dear Lord she gave me a hug because I took her to her home so she could change.

Found the following shoulder rehab type routine. It uses stretch bands. You do 7 sets of ten reps. 1 set of ten for each exercise. It did not hurt my arthritic shoulder. http://articles.elitefts.com/training-articles/band-pull-apart-super-series-for-healthy-shoulders/" onclick="window.open(this.href...

Put in a new thermostat, thermostat housing, and radiator cap on my daily driver. Hopefully fixing a coolant leak. Oh, also replaced the gas cap that left itself on the roof of the car when I got gas and drove off after getting my receipt.
