Re: Yet another home away from home!

Hello Zombie Squad! Odinsown reporting in from Iowa. A friend asked me if I had seen a certain movie. I did, but decided to look it up and and came across someone's blog. Aforementioned blog linked me here. Read forums, feel in love. I'll try to be good so you wont have to divorce me..:) I look for...

Re: Tactical bags that don't look like tactical bags?

I agree with just about everything Moab stated, But I do want to point out that if you live near a military base. GI is probably more grey man than a Dora the explorer backpack. They are ubiquitous . My GHB is a surplus assault pack and packs like mine are literally everywhere in my AO. That said I ...

Re: Noticed in the last week

There's actually surprisingly little air north-south air exchange, unlikely to be caused by the fires in the Amazon. There's been pretty nasty fires in Alaska, but if I had to bet, I'd say most is from agriculture, whole lot of crops across the midwest being taken in right now. Kicks up dust... Yea...

Re: Noticed in the last week

Perhaps Satan is rising from the abyss and preparing the world for the final battle of Armageddon? But before we go there... I would ask others if they see the same thing. If they don't then I would maybe seek a medical cause such as migraine headache auras or maybe contamination in the eyes of bod...

Re: Noticed in the last week

We've noticed a strong orange tint to the sunlight in the last week or so. I used to see this when there were large fires in California. I'm thinking this must be from the fires in the Amazon. Or is there some other large fires burning in the world, or is there active volcano erupting ? Red sky at ...

Re: PREP FAILURE: THE WALL OF SHAME

Flybynight brings up a good point. When our Walmart put in the storage pick up lockers they also added a parking curbside delivery area with express lanes and arrows pointing to it. People are not allowed to park in the special area unless they are having items delivered to them in the special park...

Re: PREP FAILURE: THE WALL OF SHAME

I was once engaged to a lady who had a filing cabinet in her dining room (her home office) and who had one drawer dedicated to just manuals and other paperwork neatly placed each in its own marked folder in alphabetical order. At first, I thought she was getting a bit OCD about it but then I saw ho...

All, the hallowed hall with the Wall of Shame. Lets put my picture, right ....there.... Sat through the hurricane with power for most of it. Lost power around 1p local. At 5p decided it was time to wake the Genny up. Rolled it out back, and cranked it up. Enjoyed the power and fans and freezer... f...

Re: Greetings from Central Florida

Good luck to you and your family. What have you done to prepare for this storm. Luckily Dorian didn't hit us, but our preparations for the hurricane were pathetic. We filled up a few different containers with water, had purchased 3 gallons of water, filled our vehicle gas tanks, and had enough non-...

Re: Have you had to draw your concealed carry, and why?

Six times. Twice where brandishing stopped the threat. Once when something went down and me and another guy both drew and waited for what next. ( Nothing, it was over before the echo's stopped ). Once when I meant to shoot , but couldn't and ended up using a pistol shaped club.
