Two you may keep in mind, suzuki samurai or Geo tracker. I have 2 samurais, one a convertible and one a tin top. Tons of cheap mods you can do, easy to work on and parts are still available. I was looking at Mesa Tactical and , they offer am aluminum adj. stock adapter I thought was pretty cool . its nice, i mean i got the shot gun with a pistol grip and i didn't want that or like that so its better.. what i really wanted was a Monte C...

Phoenix Technology makes an adjustable stock for the 1300s as well. All [polymer, but between the buttpad and the optional "Kicklite" recoil-reducing stock, they do the job. Haven't had a complaint about any of the ones I've sold for Remingtons, Winchesters, Mossbergs, or Saigas. http://www.amazon....

Well , I finally decided on a Saiga in a .223 . I kinda stumbled upon it and it was a good deal I thought . I have a Blackhawk! universal tactical sling , 1.25 " with sling mounts and , I think that there are a couple of HK type clip swivel things in the package as well . Sling is spoken for . Why are you limiting yourself to an AR10 style rifle? Is there a reason you have an aversion to an AR15? Even talking ammo availability into consideration, I'd say a 223/5.56 caliber rifle would be a better choice fora number of reasons. Ditto...AR-15's are popular for reason...and so is the .223/5...

Still a good idea to keep up on the research. If I'm going to drop money on something like an AR-10. I'd make sure it's what I want for an actual reason.
