Re: Lever Action vs. Revolving Carbine
My ex-father-in-law is a little ’yee-yee’ , if y’all know what I mean. (Not the one who was in Oklahoma, though he made Larry The Cable Guy look cosmopolitan as well. I was married once before... but that is a story for another day, dear children) Mother-Fucker went and blew his tax return one year ...

Re: Lever Action vs. Revolving Carbine
So if I wanted to stick with a period gun I'd likely go with the modern caliber with a Ruger Revolver and a Henry Rifle. Henry is coming out with a .30-30 with a side gate, so you can load it from the front or the back. Mebbe that will eventually filter down to the pistol caliber models. One does h...

Re: Lever Action vs. Revolving Carbine
Lever. More ammo onboard, and for comparable overall lengths I suspect there's a measurable improvement in performance. I also don't think a lever is likely to be much if any harder to manufacture or maintain; it is more "space intensive", which doesn't matter so much when talking about a rifle pac...

Lever Action vs. Revolving Carbine
Before we had PCCs + pistol combos that took the same mag, there were Cowboy Combos. Back in the day you could carry a rifle/carbine in the same caliber as your revolver, and you even had two choices: lever action and revolving carbine. For the traditionalist, the choice remains. But which is better...

So, there's this https://news.yahoo.com/kim-jong-un-fires-missile-172238043.html I had to scroll past a dozen stories about Aunt Becky pleading not guilty and Britney Spears doing bikini yoga before I came across this, but in spite of not receiving top billing, it still seems kind of important. I h...

Re: Sri Lanka Church Bombings
The ISIS supporters are claiming that the attacks were in "revenge" for the NZ mosque attacks. I am unable to twist my logic far enough to figure out how an attack by a pagan Odonist worshipper who was a white separatist is somehow avenged by killing mostly black and Asian Christians. https://www.t...

Re: "Walking Dead" Cable Series
As if any of the writers have even heard of this or acre about logical explanations for Post-ZA gore fest scenes. I agree there's a lot in TWD that's utterly nonsensical. But in this case, I think there's a coherent meaning to electricity being available to run that trash shredder. A junk yard with...

What powered the big meat grinder? Guessing batteries that were charged with their solar panels next to the helipad. That's my guess. Or maybe they have a small nuke reactor under the dump? Probably solar powered batteries though. Probably would be moar realistic if they had a methane genny set-up....

For the first time ever watching this show I found myself yelling at Rick tonight-
'I'm gonna' kill you'
Seriously, dude!? Negan is mourning Carl's death more than you! Just move on and piss on some one else's apocalypse!

So the answer, is yes.
The algorithms would lead them to this as an efficient way of eradicating the human problem.

Re: "Walking Dead" Cable Series
Meh- I'm vested at this point. I keep tuning in to see who will kill Rick! Somehow, Mr. Unstable-Asshat-Ambiguity is still alive. Problem is, the death of Rick is the end of the show. Kirkman has always said TWD was about Rick's journey, and everyone else was ancillary to his story. Whilst the show...
