Hardly a doc or scientist, but this chart is a encouraging to me. https://media.nature.com/lw800/magazine-assets/d41586-020-00154-w/d41586-020-00154-w_17764222.png Obviously other countries now high rising rates while China seems to have stabilized, and it is still unknown if the aggressive Chinese ...

I live in NOLA...Weird is normal and normal is weird here. On any given day you could see something that would make people go WTF?! It's not my AO, but I lived in Alaska for a time with a mix-gender work crew. Local ladys would remind the girls with us that "The odds are good, but the goods are odd!"

Re: When is it time to bunker up?
That's a good question. When to bunker up is easier when it involves a tornado, hurricane, or nuclear exchange, but it's tougher when you are talking about a pandemic. I think it is probably an evolutionary process. You can do a lot of avoid exposure by shopping off peak, avoiding crowds, using the...

Does a solar-powered atomic watch count as a prep item? How am I going to accurately time my Mountain House chicken and dumplings dinner without a dependable watch in the PAW? I don't have a Sam's or Costco membership (it's just me and my wife for now) so there's not a ton of bulk buying, but... these were posted on Sundays... when do these stores routinely restock? do they bring down all the boxes from the upper shelves on Monday and Friday? Much like we see in the media...

Finally got around to enrolling in and finishing CERT training (https://www.ready.gov/community-emergency-response-team). Mostly refresher information, but it was a really positive experience and I still learned new things. Would recommend it to anyone who hasn't already taken it!

Quick review of Rio Low Recoil shot and slugs: I like Rio Low Recoil shot. But I like Fiocchi better. Rio worked good enough. They patterned decently. I think better than the Fiocchi by an inch or two at 10 yards. But that is shotgun specific. I think the Fiocchi is a little softer recoiling though...

But how will Tubbs fit it under his Irish Linen Tommy Bahama sportcoat with the big magazine hanging out the back? Get with the times. Re: The Coming Civil War
I'm trying to think if political parties in the USA is enough to start full out warfare amongst even 25% of the population. If that did happen, I still think a martial-law-national-guard-riot-police situation would cull it. Less than 30% of eligible voters even bothered to vote in the last election...

Re: The Coming Civil War
I would like to see us stop posting links to specific stories. All the linked stories, as I see, point to the Left being the primary culprit here. That's because they are, in the eyes of general media, recently. I don't attribute it to any aspect of ideology, rather, the fact that they are the ones...

The recent Maxine Waters event, to me, just underscores my original point. https://cdns.yournewswire.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/maxine-waters-trump-violence-678x381.jpg She's speaking to a "crowd" that would graciously be considered as dozens of people, only half or less of whom even seem to be ...

Do you think the shell holder would work on a non-wood (I forget the proper verbage) stock? I have a Savage 24F in the same gauge/caliber as your Chiappa. His actual description on the specific item page calls out the Chiappa and Savage 24 so I would say that it would. As long as you take the time ...

So, about a month or so ago, I ventured for the first time into the realm of the truly low cost, 'budget' AR-15. Back when everyone thought the Dowager Empress of Chappaqua was going to win the election, I bought 4 Tennessee Arms synthetic AR-15 lowers (because that was all I could find that wasn't...

Looks great. I will be reaching out to that dude as well. I've been looking for a custom leather butt stock pouch for a rifle as well. He makes them custom too - he only had listings for .410/.22 holders but was happy to make the 20 / .22, with my specified loops for each, without a blink. I was wo...
