Re: How Effective is the Machete as a Weapon?

Pretty darn effective if you ask me! If you know how to sharpen one razor sharp it is deadly. Light easy to handle. A woman can use it easily. Look up haitian machete fighting. They are experts at it. They are considered agricultural tools here.

Re: A Word of Warning...Caution, Somewhat Graphic Images

I once forgot to snap the leather loop on my bowie knife. I was carrying it with other items as I was moving to an apartment. The knife slipped out of the sheath bounced in the concrete sidewalk and stabbed me right below the kneecap. Four stitches and weeks of recovery. :?

Re: Billhooks in the USA?

Buddy, you have a cool website on the internet. The articles are interesting. Right now I am into machetes, but I ran into a sight about billhooks. They seem interesting and useful. It seems like you could take out a zombie and do some brush clearing at the same time. I have only seen them on the ne...

Re: My brother blew a hole through his hand

It does happen. We are only human. But at least he did not do it in front of millions of viewers like I saw one day on Doomsday Preppers. A single dad with two sons. The had his thumb in front of a handgun and blew part of his thumb off. Man!!!! how embarrassing can that be! Take care and best wishe...

Re: Aranyik Machetes

Thank you very much for the information. There is a guy on YouTube that can twirl then. I think he had on special made from that company for a resonable price. I believe he is a martial artist, but when he twirls the Aranyik machete, it looks dangerous. Also he does test on them. I dont recall his n...

Would these weapons be good for killing zombies? The Totokia was used to punch holes in skulls and the Gata was use to snap necks and break bones. Someone that is quick could really do some damage. Any imput will be appreciated.

Aluminum baseball Bat

Greetings everyone, I have seen the youtube "zombie go BOOM", and they test out a lot of items on skulls filled with ballistic gel. I saw the one titled wood vs aluminum bat, and the aluminum baseball bat won hands down. The only problem was that they do not give out a name of a brand. I know there ...

Re: The Marbles Fireman's Shovel-Machete modification??

I think that would be a good idea. The size and shape of the shovel seems to be ok and I like it. The only thing I do not like it the short handle and it it hard for me to grab since I have medium size hands.
Thanks for the response.

The Marbles Fireman's Shovel-Machete modification??

Hello, Can you do anything with this shovel? I bought one and it is a good chopper. I just do not like the short handle. Does anyone have any pictures of a diffrent handle? Or maybe one made into a Lobotomizer? Would it be to heavy? I have a cold steel shovel with a longer handle. It makes a good we...
