Re: "Walking Dead" Cable Series

I'll have to remember to check it out at home. I mostly browse the forums when I'm on hold at work, so videos don't work.

Re: "Walking Dead" Cable Series

The new(est) threat would appear to be some sort of virus or disease. From what Hershel said about "You step outside, you risk your life. You take a drink of water, you risk your life", sounds like they have a problem with their water supply. There's also been shots of a couple of characters wearin...

I don't know that I'd call it emo... I would however call it sexy. lol

Re: The Restless Dead

I'm really loving the angle of having a shared conciousness with the zombies. I've seen things that sort of touched on one between zombies (nowhere near to the extent that you have it, though), but that people who've been "infected" but have some sort of immunity tapping into it... that concept is a...

Re: The Restless Dead

To Pockie. Good feedback on the lack of back story for Rebecca. I've tried to address that, channeling some of my own cynical views on marriage. These are all deeply wounded people who have found the company of each other in these, the most desperate of times. Ask and ye shall receive. :D Thanks, M...

Re: The Restless Dead

Well damn... Just made it through the whole thing. You've definitely got a talent for this Major. You've done an excellent job of bringing real personalities to the characters (I'd like to see Rebecca fleshed out a bit... seriously, pun was not intended, but I'm leaving it anyway. She's the one I'd ...

Re: "Walking Dead" Cable Series

Nah, I stay the heck away from TTD and any sneak peak/previews circulating out there. RickoShea is the bane of my existence because he's constantly tempting me with all these links and videos he unearths. My story predictions are all done the old fashioned way: wild-ass guesses. I don...

Uncanny.
Nice. I've actually heard a few different theories likening Disney movies to horror movies. There's a documentary in my Netflix queue right now thats supposed to talk about it, I just haven't gotten around to watching it yet.

Re: "Walking Dead" Cable Series

If they did leave for good I hope Andrea and Milton take care of the governor.... tyreese seems to be a follower. He doesn't seem to want to do anything to piss the governor off..... maybe he and Milton will be the one to save Andrea... I don't know that we've really seen enough of Tyreese yet to s...

Re:

[quote Michael Rooker said it was never a suicide mission. Merle planned on living. He also said he didn't like the Plot Armor part with the Governor. A trained fighter like Merle would have never missed that shot on the Goobernator. "As a rule of thumb, I'm wary of strangers that can royally jack ...

Re: "Walking Dead" Cable Series

Did anyone else think it's strange that Merle's decoy-mobile seemed to have radio?? Coulda been CD's. But I doubt he'd take the time to switch discs... So I guess Merle won't be joining the group... I picture Merle looking very specifically for a musical selection he could enjoy. He had to find som...

Re: "Walking Dead" Cable Series

You know what that makes sense. Remember the part with Darryl and Merle in the woods, when Merle saw the scars on Darryl's back. There was some back story with their dad being abusive. Maybe Darryl needed Merle, because he was his protector growning up. Then Merle went to jail, then the ZPAW happen...

Re: "Walking Dead" Cable Series

Bravo thespian, bravo!. Michael Rooker gave a performance worthy of a Best Supporting Actor Emmy. I just hope he is remembered when the 2013 nomination season rolls around. Note the fury with which Darly dispatches his late brother. Lot of disappointment and rage in there. To the previous posters, ...

Re: "Walking Dead" Cable Series

Seriously, how are we not talking about the fact that the Gov bit off Merle's fingers? Truthfully, I have already written him off as completely psychotic. I'm not shocked or even surprised by his actions. I was kind of rooting for Glen to drop a walker finger with a ring on into Maggie's hand thoug...

Off topic, thanks to everyone for talking up Jericho waaaay back when in the thread. I added it to my netflix queue when I dropped cable, and decided to start watching it tonight. 5 episodes in and I'm pretty sure this'll get me through til I can grab Walking Dead online or at someone else's house.

Re: "Walking Dead" Cable Series

This stuff is too analytical for the writers of this show. Their idea of ingenuity is duct tape on the forearms. If memory serves, when Steven Yeun was on Talking Dead, he mentioned that the duct tape served no tactical purpose like everyone thought it did when he was bit. But Milton had his shirts...

With all the resources woodberry has, if I was a twisted SOB I would load a firetruck up with walker blood, and hose people, sure, they might not get infected, but that would be a hell of a scare tactic Some might consider you a twisted SOB just for thinking of it. But seriously, the gross o...
