Looking for a new jacket

Alright guys, I'm looking for a new jacket. I'm wanting something in coyote brown, preferably something somewhat plain, almost “gray man”. I live in a small town so if its a little tactical no ones gonna give me a second glance. I like the chest pocket as well as the inside pockets, This is what I w...

Rabbit Farming

Does anyone here raise rabbits? For either food, fur, or any other reason. Just wondering because they seem like they make a lot of meat for the amount they are fed. I believe I read somewhere that they are actually better meat producers than cattle. Didn't know if anyone here raised them and had an...

Target Transitioning Help

Hey guys, I need help with some training I've been doing with my Hi-Point 45acp Carbine. I've been trying to work on transitioning between targets. I'm not sure of the best way to work on that. I only use about 50rds every time I go to the range but could bump it up to 100rds if I have too, and I ha...

Hello From Washington

Hey, whats up guys. KALI here from Washington, I'm not new to the forum but I just started actually posting stuff here. A little bit about me: I'm seventeen and I'm an extreme gun nut (lets be honest, we all are). I consider myself pretty well read on most survival related things, but you can always...

Practicality of a Post Apocalyptic Sniper?

Hey everyone, so I was wondering how practical it would be to have a sniper, or someone with a sniper type rifle, in your group. I feel I am experienced enough to make a shot out to about 500ythds, with a good rifle. I compete out to 600 with an AR15 (5.56 iron sights). I feel if I were alone I woul...

Re: All Purpose "Help me pick a gun for my budget" thread.

Alright guys, lets see you work your magic. So i'm looking for a budget rifle that can reach out a little bit. I'm hoping to spend under $500 (gun only), if that's possible. I like the rem 700 but its a bit high for me. i can shoot that far without much issue, i shoot service rifle matches (5.56/.22...

Need Advice On BOV/Vehicle EDC

Hey guys, just wanted some ideas on what to put in my '95 Ford Taurous Wagon. I'm turning 17 in a few days so this is my first car. The weather up here in Washington has already been down into the negatives multiple times, luckily not too much moisture yet. So what do I need to carry as far as cold ...

Ammo

So I just bought a savage model II barreled in .243 and I was looking for first off, a really cheap target ammo. And second a really effective balistic tip. For example has anybody tried out the Hornady Zombie max ammo, if so, any input?
