Re: First post have mercy :) Which Handgun?
The HK can always be with me. In a backpack or in a holster under the jacket. While the carabine would have been 95% at home. So the best gun is the gun you have in a shit hit the fan situation. Right? And would a 9mm be enough... You went with a choice that made the most sense to you based on what...

Finally got a pretty solid first aid kit that I've attached to my BoB. Set the girlfriend up with a car overnight bag and first aid kit. Added some food that won't freeze along with some cash/coins in the event she's iced in at her workplace and can't get home, or get to other family member's homes ...

1. Have you taken an objective look at your own skills and experience? I've taken a thorough look at what I can and can't do, as well as how I handle stressful/emergency situations. It's always a balance between investing funds into supplies/items vs training along with testing out everything in a ...

I'm getting an expired security certificate when trying to order securely from Chinook. Tried several browsers and had the same issue. I contacted the site admin, as I assume it needs updating on their side. I'm going to hold off on ordering until that's resolved, though from what I've read here it...

Well done. I enjoy reading these things the most - they're real, and a lot of good lessons get addressed. I think it's good that your dog wasn't out and about (since he's still a puppy) - how would you have reacted seeing your dog dead/injured while the guy was sitting on your couch? I would have lo...
