Re: What have you bought in the last 48 hours?(firearms related)

I paid 300.00 for it which I considered a little high but I did really want it. I got my date info from this forum https://www.thefirearmsforum.com/threads/age-of-a-h-r-922-9-shot-revolver.82009/ hope that helps. It's a classic and they don't male them like that anymore. :) Thanks and wow. That set...

Re: What are you playing?

Been back playing Battlefield V the last two weekends. After a multi-month layoff from it. There was a major patch just released and two new Pacific maps dropped. One is Iwo Jima. It also included some US and Japanese weapons and vehicles. MI Garand is one of them. There will be two more Pacific the...

Re: Home Defense Choices

It occurred to me later he might be better off with the 10/22 and the pistol. What do you guys think? Change the 10/22 to a couple extra pistol mags [its a Shield] and maybe add a tactical light when clearing your apartment. Are the roommates going to be part of the home defense team or just this g...

Re: Busted electronics, what's in your repair kit?

I have a tool bag that is a dedicated electrical kit. But its mostly tools specifically designed to work on or take readings on electrical components and wiring. The only parts I stock are: Assorted Connectors Assorted shrink insulators. Assorted fuses. 12 and 14 and 16 gauge red, black and white wi...

Re: Age Of The Living Dead (Amazon series)

Hey... it worked for Walking dead I actually enjoyed the first couple seasons. It is sad when writers fall blindly in love with their characters. It did work for the first few seasons. The early seasons of TWD were some of the best TV I have seen. Well , maybe two seasons. Then you realized, Rick w...

 So 150 million-ish vampires given a tribute of what, 150 million-ish gallons of blood per month, donated by 150 million humans? Yes, ok, suspension of disbelief, but are there any rebellious teenage girls, or preteen boys with inhalers in it? 'Cause that would be a deal breaker. [so old and ...

CRAP! The Player Stats network shut down. Does anyone know of another player stats tracking website? My signature contained rank insignia from a couple games that were generated thru that website. Think I haven't seen 2,4,9, and 15. Since they listed 'Night of the Comet', I'll add 'Maximum Overdrive' as another 'must see' '80's EOTW flick. Its the same quality filmmaking IMO, so tied for #12. Plus its got a Survivalist's gunlocker IIRC, so +1. [maybe its a illegal gun sales operation, IDR exa...

I always wonder how to keep spys and raiders out of large communities. Someone could infiltrate PRE PAW and be known to the people. But have ulterior motives. Such as their own group a few miles away who plan to double their resources with a small timeshare investment in your BOL. Or something along...

Looks like Smith and Wesson released a M&P 2.0 Subcompact... basically the old M&P9c but in 2.0 fashion... Color me interested. But people are mad it is not a SIG 365 or SA Hellcat competitor. I guess you can't please everyone The 2.0 is too big IMO. It is almost the same size as a full size. I ima...

And at the end, why didn't Carol just back away from the ledge so Alpha doesn't see her, since she had more then enough time to step back before Alpha looked up, or better yet drill Alpha with a few arrows and be done with it. Oh yeah, since when do walkers die from getting their throat sliced?? .....

Saved between $175 and $450+ by fixing a coolant leak myself in my '06 Explorer last Friday. I usually do all repairs/maint on my cars myself, so don't usually know exactly how much i'm saving, but this time I got quotes. The specific quote request was for fixing a leak under the thermostat housing....

This part intrigues me. I'm going to see if I have it available. [the game to download in 'PS Store' of course not the movie]

There was a time in this country where shooting a fleeing burglar in the back was frowned upon but accepted. That time has passed. May depend on local law. There are provisions in the Texas code where, if someone is fleeing with your property, you may use the level of force necessary to recover/pre...

I've never seen algae on gas, are there any photos? I remember [not really] an episode of either fall guy or macgyver where they found a WWII B-25 and barrels of fuel sitting for 40+ years. They had to escape by flying the plane out, and used a hemp rope somehow to purify the fuel. I was skeptical a...

Seconds later, one of the back seat passengers pulled out a pistol, which caused the other 3 in the car to do the same. I always think of Escape to Athena When I see a C96. That movie made me actually want one with the little stock.
