They have been watching too many reruns of, "Kickass". What is wrong with that!? LOL! If you have the means, I would buy it now, because years later, you will have a good story!

Re: Show and Tell thread, Longarm edition
One Mosin Nagant arrived at my front door today via UPS. :) Its a 1938 91/30 7.62x54r Izhevsk completely stamped & numbers matched specimen. The bolt is in fantastic shape and although my borescope took a shit on me, from what I can tell the lands and groves are in immaculate shape. As soon as my "...

Re: Bolt action for zombies?
In my opinion, a good bolt gun would be a Remington 700 SPS AAC/SD suppressed in .308, with an aftermarket detachable magazine. Put a Leupold VXR 3x9 that has an illuminated reticle for darker situations.

Re: Posting pics of license plates
The OP does bring up a good point though. Driving around, business numbers, home phone etc can be found.....but there's a difference here. Someone could essentially data mine everything you've ever said in a forum like this. We can look up all the posts from a username. You might mention your signi...

Folks, knock off the dogpiling. If you think the OP's concerns aren't valid, that's cool--that's why we have forums--to discuss different points of view. But don't mock someone just because you disagree. If you think he's wrong, tell him *why*. Use your words. You know, like grown ups. I think good...

Re: Posting pics of license plates
Hello people! I was just trying to help! There is a difference between having a license plat on your car to drive it, and using it for your profile picture so that some of the previous idiots have instant access to it. If anyone thinks this is funny, I dare you to use as your profile pic, your SS#, ...

I would suggest duct tape....Blacksmith wrote:Woah, thanks for the advice.
Now how do I cover up my plate since it is already displayed to the entire world? How do I prevent DMV people from randomly targeting me for identity theft?

Or, not displaying it on the Internet.

I love my Danner Ft. Lewis Runners in both climate styles. Comfy outa the box, but the Vibram soles seems to wear quicker than other boots with Vibram soles. Anybody have feedback on that? I have two pairs of ft lewis boots and dont have that issue. They are heavy though, are you dragging your feet...
