Re: When Zombies Attack, what you can do to help the victims

Sorry for the misunderstanding. But I was being serious and literal. What I meant to say, was how do we help those who need help but who may still pose a threat to others somehow? I would hope there would be a safe, sane way to manage to do that.

Re: When Zombies Attack, what you can do to help the victims

no emergency teams are going to let a bunch of you do anything except maybe get hauled off to jail for not getting out of their way. They already think of this group as a cub scout troop and a bunch of wanna-be hero's. If you don't believe me do some checking. Let's take it further....what if some ...

Re: The Day of EDC Victory

There have been several times when my EDC gear came in handy. One notable instance was when my original Leatherman tool saved an executive assistant's finger. There was a big meeting and while getting ready she accidentally smashed her wedding ring and it was pinching her finger. She called down fo...

Re: When people find out you're a prepper

Agreed the ready.gov site has resources that cite official government policy (never mind simple common sense) to encourage every one to have basic preparations of 3 days of food and water. http://www.ready.gov/basic-disaster-supplies-kit" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I would say, t...

Re: Food Storage Porn: Hot or Not. Show us pics!

Let's see, where to start. OK. Having lived my whole life (41 years) in Southeast Louisiana I have always been prepared to various degrees for emergencies, mostly storm related. I've always had lots "militia" gear but it's not really been ready to go on short notice. In the past 5 years or so I've ...

Re: Christmas gifts

Gabriel, you are a most gracious host and welcomer of newbies. I appreciate it. :D I do not know if I will attain the scale of that achieved by some of your masters here, but I can and will, and already have learned just by spending the evening, here, on your site. I did realize the zombies w...

Re: Events That Changed Your Life and Shaped Your Outlook

(I've been in in introspective, serious mood lately...so forgive me dear ZS from deviating from my usual menagerie of poop jokes and sexual innuendo.) 1) I was on a middle school field trip to Washington D.C., and was approached by a homeless man asking for money so him and his friends could eat. F...

Where ya from? What brings you here? Zombies, global warming, rogue comets, the economy... which will...
