The man is a dick. The status of being the author of Ender's Game, one of the best science fiction books ever, has gone to his head and turned him into a jackass that thinks every word he says is solid gold, and all who defy him are naught but piles of vocal excrement. Hmm. Card wrote a short story...

I'm wearing the original Indiana Jone boots, Alden 405s. They've been with me since for years, and they're still in great shape. Of course, they'd damn well better- at 300 bucks a pair you don't want to have to buy them twice...

Pebble-bed reactors for the win, because the radioactive fuel is already in its own containment sphere. Also, when they bury the stuff, they should just dig the hole deep and leave it unmarked. Otherwise, the savages might mistake it for aplace of power or worship and build their temple or something...

Having a thirty-year old ~200# caucasian male MVC victim go from lucid and responsive to raging and thrashing and trying to kill an EMT in about two seconds. Apparently he was a severe bipolar, and the head lac didn't help, nor did the fact that it was my first MVC response.

Personally, I'd rather go up against intact, undamaged zombies. Which is easier to spot and thus avoid, an upright, moaning, shambling zombie, or a silent, very small, snake-like zombie on the ground or in the grass? Also, unless I'm mistaken, the concussive force of a large aerial bomb serves mainl...

A zombie needs only one arm and a head to bite an infect a living person. A living person needs all their limbs and organs, plus a weapon to smash a zombies head. Modern anti-personell weapons are designed to destroy organs and limbs, and would thus be useless against zombies. Also, current military...

They have several abrasive and reinforced areas to prevent slip wounding and to help you keep your hands on a tool, and are extremely tough to ke...

Sounds like a Garand is the right weapon for these criteria, but I think you should also practice more with the AK and possibly get it examined by a good gunsmith for possible accuracy-affecting defects. Lexan is also not bulletproof glass. There is a special type of laminate glass that is the commonly known bulletproof glass, and lexan is involved in it, but lexan itself is not bulletproof in thicknesses you would use for windows. Also, it breaks into vicious daggers.
