Re: This is what I have, any suggestions?

When it comes to critical gear like knives, firesteel, etc. it was on this very site I learned an important truism. There are only two color options; "hi-viz" and "lost".

I assume you already adhere to the, "two is one, one is none, three is better" viewpoint?

Re: The Coming Civil War

Link below. Disclaimer: it's rather inflammatory and sensational. https://www.civilwar.news I haven't seen this one before but it is exactly what I am talking about. I especially like their "How To" articles on post SHTF looting rather ironically placed in their "rioting" category. They even includ...

Re: The Coming Civil War

Found an interesting site called CivilWar dot news. Won't link to it because some of the commentary is a bit inflammatory and political, but it has some interesting articles. It seems to me there's been a proliferation lately of online articles and commentary with the general view that a civil war ...

About that NEBO Rebel... Excellent discussion of the pros and cons of this light, so thank you. So good in fact, I'd urge you to repost in a separate review thread. More people would see it and benefit from your insights. As requested... and more. https://www.zombiehunters.org/forum/viewt...

The all-inclusive, sticked, flashlight and other light source review thread

I would like all future reviews of flashlights, lanterns, headlights, what have you that is used for illumination to be added to this thread so they are all in a central, easily searchable thread instead of scattered to the four winds. I will attempt to move any already posted threads that fit the p...

Re: On you at all times BOB? What do you keep on you?

Did you try operating the light with a 16340 battery? I normally charge my batteries with a separate charging station . So the tail cap charger would be relegated to emergency away from home back up use. If the light operates with just a standard 16340. That would be my edc battery No, given the wa...

Re: On you at all times BOB? What do you keep on you?

Just noticed I had a pretty large credit on my Amazon account (due to their 5% back store card) and used part of it to get the NEBO REBEL. I may review it later. About that NEBO Rebel... I posted this review on Amazon yesterday: I really want to like this light because it has some good features but...

Ya. It's not a perfect list. Some of it is simply for dramatic effect. I think it was Mark Twain that said "Don't let the truth get in the way of good story."? lol. I think the point is if you have the choice between a .357 and something that starts with a "4". Your better off with the one that sta...

Re: Oil tankers "sabotaged" off UAE coast

The US is evacuating non-essential personnel from the embassy in Baghdad. I always wonder when they do that why we have "non-essential personnel" posted overseas. I guess everyone is ramping up. With Israel making nice with the Gulf Coast States this was bound to happen sooner or later. Ringing the...

Re: Lever Action vs. Revolving Carbine

Before we had PCCs + pistol combos that took the same mag, there were Cowboy Combos. Back in the day you could carry a rifle/carbine in the same caliber as your revolver, and you even had two choices: lever action and revolving carbine. For the traditionalist, the choice remains. But which is bette...

You're lucky...I tried to go to my local outdoor range and it was closed because all the rain over the last week or so (on top of an extremely wet fall and winter) has turned everything to mud out there. First the Russians engage in info ops during the election. Then they send raputitsa to Texas. W...

The only reason to carry such cards would be to use found ordinance for things we don't speak about on here. And that's another forum. I've got to disagree with you here. Trump just put out an executive order to investigate ways to protect our grid from the Russian & NORK emp threat. As the entire public power grid needs to be protected, I suspect they will be making their findings public standards and this will all be public information: https://www.whitehouse.gov/...
