Re: Which 3 lights would you have in the PAW?

I am currently running this Black Diamond headlamp and I have to say, I love it 10x more than my Petzyl Tikka 2. Way more light output and one CR123 lasts much longer in it.

Re: Realistic BOV Platform: What you would choose?

I also can only afford/like to have one vehicle.. I had a 2 door Wrangler JK, but really for a BOV its not very practical. The soft top offers little protection.. especially from thieves, you can not fit a lot of gear/supplies in it and while the off road capability is second to none it was too much...

Re: Granfors Bruks Small Forest Axe

Also just called Granfurs Bruks and they told me that while they sell new handles they do not replace them for you. Might have to buy a new axe as I am not sure I know how to properly replace the handle.. http://tinyurl.com/3rqwzqb" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I did Google it and ...

Re: Granfors Bruks Small Forest Axe

So what would be the best use for the Gransfurs Small Forest Axe if not for wood splitting?

Re: Granfors Bruks Small Forest Axe

I am not liking this axe... at least for my purposes. Trying to split wood from a fell tree, it did not perform well. These logs were not big either, maybe 6 inches thick. The Granfurs could not split them without multiple hits, sometimes not splitting at all. The head was also too small, so often i...

Re: Whos got a Leatherman Surge?

I have been eyeing a Leatherman for awhile now. My old Gerber just ain't doing it for me anyone. After a trip to Cabela's to see the size comparison in person I think I am going to go with a wave also.

Re: Granfors Bruks Small Forest Axe

OP, if you don't mind me asking how much did your axe cost you? Any recommendations on good places to pick one up for a reasonable price? Oh, and... Currently looking for a saw to go with them all. Check out Sven saws, they're pretty sweet! Marktaff was using his at one of the ZS005 camping trips a...
