Re: Food Storage - Proteins ie MEAT

Thanks for the reply post. We have at times had someone come on and argue vehemently about things like that. I bend a 'rule 'here and there myself, but really want to know how far I'm bending it. - http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u295/jcelevoy/Smilies/welcomewagon.gif Welcome to the site! Thank ...

Thank you all very much for the welcome. I look forward to my nursing career as an LVN but I'll be going back to school eventually for my Paramedic and my RN.

Re: Pandemic Preparations

I cannot remember where I found this recipe but it meets the criteria for Oral Rehydration Therapy. Table Salt (NaCl) 1/2 tsp.* Salt Substitute (KCl) 1/2 tsp.* Baking Soda 1/2 tsp. Table Sugar 2 tablespoons Tap Water 1 Liter (= 1 Qt. 2 tablespoons) This tastes quite salty to someone who isn't dehydr...

Hello from the Tx Gulf Coast. I have lurked here off and on for some time. I have finally gotten the misses to understand that "prep" is not an unusual thing to do. So we are starting with home preps for short term things. There is a move for us in the future, we have decided that the heat and crazi...
