Ha! Guess you showed your dominance over the bully-dog, and now he's joined your pack. XD Very glad you didn't have to shoot him, and I hope he proves faithful and true.

He still fought like it was High School and wanted to work up to it, I cheated and just skipped the introduction or build up to the fight and started it when he was still working up to it and from what I heard so did the Airman. Excellent survival tactic; skip the "monkey dance" and go right for th...

Re: My Job, My Hell...
My thought was, why does that mommy have those 7 year old kids instead of daddy? Daddy needs to get custody, if he cares at all. TBF, the only thing we know about Daddy is that he bought (or acquired) an Xbox for his kids' birthday. Now, from what we saw in the tale above, that makes him far and aw...

I kept waiting for you to end the story with "and then the men in black came and took him away. We never saw him again, but the Army started issuing these new riot gas rounds..."

That's a big "if," though. The New York Ban now mandates 7 round magazines, with no grandfathering beyond the first year or so.TEC9man wrote:If there is a ban and it's like the last one, you'll still be able to get mags but at a much higher price, same as rifles.

So... big bore revolvers, perhaps?

Re: ZPAW firearms in a post AWB world
What people are saying about trading up caliber is the same thing that happened during the last AWB - they went from "wonder 9s" with fifteen plus round magazines to service 1911s and similar .45s and 10mms. So... yeah, probably the same here. I have a 10 round magazine for my Para style 1911, and m...

I read about a dude recently who "keestered" a cell phone into the local county jail. Wonder if it was one of those Giant Galaxy IIIs... It's a felony to butt smuggle, so be careful... What, in general? There's a law saying you can't shove things up your arse? I mean, smuggling into a prison, yeah....

I like the part where he pukes from scaring a burglar away, to about how racking a shotgun automatically scares intruders/burglars away to the presumption that just because he's a worthless turd that can't train it automatically won't work for someone else. This article just has to make a stop at e...

Re: Home invasion.... Where did this guy go wrong?
What amuses me most is that the gun did exactly what he wanted it to - protected the house. Perhaps the burglar would have fled if they had simply called out, perhaps not. He certainly did flee when he heard the action cycled. Chalk one defensive use of a firearm up on the billboard, Chuck. Where di...

Re: Awesome Wax Cotton balls.
I usually just use a ball of dryer lint as a firestarter - it's not waterproof (the wax is a plus there, I admit), but a Ziploc baggy of lint is free and easy to take camping - and lights pretty damned easily with a stroke from the firesteel. Had trouble lighting a fire at my parents' house on New Y...
