A mechanical pencil is the way to go. I have had several of these all my working life. http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/31eRBzIYXjL._SY300_.jpg The leads do not dry up or leak and the thick .7mm lead is easy to write and read. http://www.amazon.com/Pentel-Mechanical-Pencil-Barrel-P207C/dp/B002...

I am looking at getting one. I already do 3d modeling and know most of the programs that are used. Just saving up the money for one of the smaller cheaper versions.

Well from a lot of cities closing their libraries and a lot of book stores closing, because most people get their books from online sources like amazon. Plus for the proper discussion here in the forums. I would say get your books now so you dont have to go looking for them after the paw.

3D Printers If you think about 3D printer technology many of the cheap items now manufactured in the Far East and shipped thousands of miles will in fact be available locally at a much lower price since the shipping is done via the internet. Improvements in this technology will come fast and will d...

How many hordes could a zombie hoard if a zombie could hoard hordes? I think it would go more like this: Guybrush: How much zombies are in a zombie horde if zombies could be in a horde? LaChuck: Zombies could be in a horde if zombies could, but zombies cant learn to horde. Guybrush: But if zombies ...

Re: Is Height/Build important for Survival?
Survival comes in all sizes. Big and tall can lug the heavy things around, but short and fast can get in and out of places faster then big and tall guys.
But really, its all down to what a person knows and uses to survive.

...you know where your towel is. A towel, it says, is about the most massively useful thing an interstellar hitchhiker can have. Partly it has great practical value. Re: Most calories in a standard can: Roast Beef Hash
Roast beef or corned beef hash is tasty and can be mixed with rice or noodles if cooked right. I grew up eating corned or roast beef hash with eggs and cheese. I currently have 10 cans stashed in the kitchen for when i want something different to eat. Right next to the tins of sardines.

Out of all of this I just say keep an eye on what the masses are doing the closer the date gets. Just see if ppl make a run at buying up lots of food or gas. Just keep tabs on things in the news on how ppl are reacting. I say make the date as a way to see how a certain percentage of society reacts w...
