Re: Firearms Chat: Yeet Cannon 2 Electric Boogaloo

Speaking of PSA guns, I made a couple of fixes to my KS-47 and I think I've got the issues ironed out. Problems: 1) Firing pin working it's way past the firing pin retaining pin under recoil 2) Light strikes, approaching 1 round in 5 using Wolf ammo Solutions: 1) Replace the firing pin with a so-cal...

Re: Firearms Chat: Yeet Cannon 2 Electric Boogaloo

Question for the Glock folks: I'm looking for a 357 SiG barrel to drop in my G22. Because reasons. So far my web digging has found Storm Lake and KKM as options, with a price difference of around $5. I've seen mentions about Lone Wolf, but I can't find the 357 Sig barrels on their actual site (Dear...

So in that sense, it's another mechanical part to fail ... So what happens when it fails? In die making, nitrogen cylinders are semi serviceable; we can recharge the nitrogen, but once the seals fail, it's scrap. The company makes industrial nitrogen cylinders, so maybe, but the Average Joe in the ...

So, other than fitting in shorter actions, including the AR-10 platform, can someone explain what the 6.5CM does that the 6.5 Swede doesn't?

Re: All purpose "Help me build my AR" thread.

One of the things to be wary of when going with a low mass BCG is how the whole operating system functions together. If you reduce the mass of the BCG without reducing the amount of gas running through the system, you're going to increase the velocity of the BCG when the action cycles. Mr. Newton wi...

I haven't been able to find anything after probably 30-45 minutes of searching, but does anyone know if there was a transit case for M1 rifles? Re: Firearms Chat: Yeet Cannon 2 Electric Boogaloo

So, a while back, I got myself a PSA KS-47. For those not familiar with PSA's terminology, that's their 7.62x39 AR that uses AK mags. Why? Because why not? So far, I've taken it to the range, and it's had some serious reliability issues. First time, put 100 rounds through it. Toward the end, things ...

I'll keep saying it till I'm blue in the face; social capital is vital, and cannot be emphasized enough. I fully agree. I've repeatedly read how small gangs during breakdowns quickly grew into very large organizations as people flocked to anyone with the slightest semblance of strength, organizatio...

Mental note: that thing the drill sergeants teach you, about putting your nose to the charging handle (to ensure consistent eye placement) when shooting the M-16 or M-4?

Not advised when shooting an AR-10.
