Re: All purpose NFA questions thread
Update... I'm meeting with a lawyer in a few weeks to get started on a trust. Turns out, it will be totally free for me. So, that means I have a few questions to ask of those that know more about NFA trusts than I do... I've heard terms like "revocable trust" or "multi-generational asset prot...

http://jerkingthetrigger.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/Stamp-Collector-Shirt.jpeg Definitely go the trust route... Easy as pie w/fill in the blank templates online. I wound up paying a lawyer to set mine up but in the end I could have just done it myself and had it notarized. Since you mentioned h...

Re: All purpose NFA questions thread
Next question... I just learned that I get free legal assistance as one of my benefits at work. Haven't looked too far into it yet, but on the surface it looks like it may include creating trusts. So... for those that have an NFA trust, what's the difference between that and a regular trust? i.e. wh...

Re: All purpose NFA questions thread
How about that "Direct thing", where they apparently handle all the NFA papers and such? Any idea if that's worthwhile? Also, how does ordering online work, vs. finding in a store? Is it a lot like ordering a lower, but I have to wait till I have the stamp to go get it from the FFL? I don't think th...

We have an NFA question thread here: https://www.zombiehunters.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=107&t=73812 That's the thread I was looking for, thanks Doc! And yeah, my wallet and bank account immediately began crying once I heard the news. Anyone ever hear of or use this: http://www.silencershop.c...

MN's now getting Cans viewtopic.php?f=107&t=116275 now.
Anyone ever heard of this, or know if it's as good as it sounds? I really know very little about the process, so apologies for sounding like a noob.

Minnesota's gettin cans, yo! http://mn.gov/governor/newsroom/pressreleasedetail.jsp?id=102-162911 Dayton's gonna sign (or already has, not sure yet) Senate File 878. Re: Firearms Chat Part 2: Bullpups cause all the rage!
I've been eye looking at the Howard Leights, wondering if they're any good... One question I have: Are they "over" ear or "on" ear? i.e. do the cups fit around the ear, rather than press the ear into the skull?

Help me spend my money!! Alright gang. I got me an Amazon.com card for Christmas. I'm thinking splurge a bit and get some shooting stuff. Eye and Ear pro jump to the top of the list. I've got both, but really only in the sense that I have them, and they're earplugs and glasses. I'd really li...

They're almost certainly entered into the system. If your prints weren't "on file" before, they are now. That's about what I figured. And why I didn't really care when I got my permit. But he's kinda worried about it. Seems to me he shoulda researched it BEFORE he shelled out the money for the clas...

When you say "entered into NCIS", what do you mean by that? Just run through to find a match? Or actually entered to be kept on file?Doctorr Fabulous wrote:I believe they're entered into NICS. No idea about the originals.

Re: Firearms Chat Part 2: Bullpups cause all the rage!
Friend of mine asked me a question re: Florida carry permits. I don't know the answer, hoping someone here might.
Does Florida keep the fingerprints submitted for a carry application on file, or do they destroy them after running the background check?

Help me ZS. I'm completely scope-illiterate. Decided to put a scope on my Remington 597 .22. Got a Weaver base and Leupold medium rings. My dad had an older Weaver Grand Slam sitting around he insisted I take. Free scope.... Except I now have 2 problems. 1. On the lower powers, I see barrel a...

What do you normally carry? Is it a glock? If so try a MIC holster. http://glocktech.com/ If not paddle holsters work alright, but try it out before-hand in store. Yessir, Glock 19. That MIC looks interesting, Just not sure it's what I'm looking for... I'm not a fan of paddle holsters, but that mig...

Re: Firearms Chat Part 2: Bullpups cause all the rage!
Help me ZS. I'm having a derp moment week. Is there a good option out there that allows me to quick on-off my holster without removing my belt? I know Bladetech (and Safariland too?) make something like that, but that looks to be more of a duty option. i.e. open carry. I'm looking for concealed carr...

Update: I've been using proformell for the last couple days. I'm down with this. I don't like the lack of "active topics" etc at the top of pages. But it seems to be the best one otherwise. Enough contrast to look "right". Reasonably well-organized thread pages. I think I've even gotten used to avat...

So, it seems the new themes have kicked in. What happened to the original theme? Prosilver2 I think it was? I liked that one. These new ones, not so much.
I thought Prosilver 2 was gonna stay?

Talking Dead's segment on episode behind-the-scenes info said that the hanging walkers were country club members killed by the staff. Some sort of "class" revolt or some such.

Well theres Abraham. I literally jumped off my couch and started cheering. I got excited when I saw "Michael Cudlitz" in the opening acting credits. the only marks ive got are from putting the damn bolt catch in.
