Re: What have you bought in the last 48 hours?(firearms rela

Something very un-american, a so-called "combined weapon", an over-under construction and a relatively common type of weapon here in germany.

Upper barrel: 12ga
lower barrel: 7x65R (similar to .30-06).

Me Gusta.

Re: Islamic Terror Attacks in Europe

"Wehrpflicht" = something like army draft. Up til 2010, every male citizen had the duty to be mustered and, if eligible, was mandated to either serve a short time in the army or do civil service. The candidate had to file for this exchange service, which a vast majority did. https://en.wikipedia.org...

Re: Islamic Terror Attacks in Europe

Smü beat me to it. You, on the other hand used way better vocabulary than me. Is this the kind of thing that could be attributed to an easy translation error? For example, the words "necessary" and "required" can be used interchangeably in some contexts in English, but in other contexts they can me...

Re: Islamic Terror Attacks in Europe

It's not required, it suggested. Also, despite it being part of a newly announced plan of inner security, this recommendation is rather old. The bureau in question has had a handout online for the public since 2010, even before that, but I didn't care for it at that time. So, keep calm. No enforcing...

Got these from customs today.

Image

Friend send them to me. Look nice, feel like decent quality, will try the fit tonight. The bitchy customs lady was a bit of a let down. That and the fact they actually looked up if a holster is a "prohibited firearms accessoire". :v:

Re: Munich shooting

As of today, evidence shows both the train attacker and the backpack bomber had made phone calls to and IM chat contact with people in Saudi Arabia. The contacts have been affiliated with ISIS.

Investigators are quite sure the backpack exploded unintended, leaving only the bomber himself blown up.

Re: Munich shooting

A little more information has been dripping through. Basically, all suspects of the four incidents had been in therapy for various reasons. The backpack bomber has not been affiliated with ISIS, yet the attack is "claimed' by them. Which leads to another, interesting and scary sensation: Instant Ter...

Re: Munich shooting

Been quite a week here in germanistan. Munich attack was a lone wolf active shooter, it's called "amok shooter" here. He purchased his gun via darknet, a reactivated formerly disactived prop gun, alleged black market price 2k+ €. A second suspect has been arrested yesterday who might have known the ...

I got my first handgun (https://www.zombiehunters.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=107&t=2833&p=2628765#p2628765), and had the opportunity to score some ammo for a bargain. http://i.imgur.com/BTy31Wk.jpg?2 I was unsorted stuff, so I just sorted to into Wadcutter, FMJ ball and various JHP. Re: ZS Hot or Not: Knives Edition

I repaired an old hunting knife I received 20+ years ago. http://i.imgur.com/NAxvjcv.jpg?1 These Martiini knives were pretty popular in europe back then. It was a two knife set and actually the first somewhat decent fixed blade I ever got. The handle had finally broken off a few months ago. I tried ...
