The Condor Tool and Knife UltraBlaC2 , in my opinion would be a good tool for the hunt camp. It could do the duties of a light duty hatchet. I could see it used as a tool in butchering large game. Use the blade to chop through bones and the hook to gut the animal.

Woodman's Pal looks to me to be a tool that is primary a chopping tool with a hook,but the Condor Tool and Knife UltraBlaC2 looks more like a tool that is designed to hook and then secondary as a chopping tool. I have always carried the extra odd ammo (including a few Winchester .300 ). in one of my pouches. In my neighbor hood i leave out the .45,.308 and only carry 00 buck.

2 thoughts;
1. I would rather have more rifle than needed and not need it,than need a long shot and not have the gun to take it.
2. but, a gun that you can not afford to shoot, a place to practice or to much gun for you to shoot will defeat the purpose of the gun
