Re: M&P Compact 9mm for CCW

been lumpin the 9c for awhile now. 0 issues so far. the trigger took a little getting used to but it's a very accurate, reliable and controllable carry gun. my next gun is an M&P core.

Re: Good first revolver?

I think if you are buying one for the experience and history of the revolver, then you should go out a little bit and spend the cash on a smith, colt, or ruger. do you want a single action or a double action?

Re: Would you trade?

last year, when wasr-10s were 400 bux....maybe. not a chance now. you could get a higher end 1911 for what iv'e seen wasr-10s going for lately in my area.

Re: Debating between Beretta 92 and Taurus PT92

Granted Taurus went through some bad growing pains, but I would say in the last several years they have really stepped it up in quality and design. Its funny how Colt, Sig, Ruger, and S&W can screw up royally and get a pass while Taurus gets dumped on. Come on the S&W Sigma, and the Walther P22/pot...

Re: Taurus PT738

got one awhile back, only about 10 mags through it so far. it's had a couple FTFs with wolf ammo. no prblem with the 2 mags of winchester defensive HPs. one mag does not always lock back after last round. i'm okay with that, as it is a feature not found on most others in the catagory. the trigger sm...

Re: Debating between Beretta 92 and Taurus PT92

Nothing wrong with the taurus. I cut my teeth on one as my first adult gun purchase. prolly 15k thru it and none if very few malfs thru the entire time i had it. fit and finish were better with the beretta though. beretta parts and mags will always be available, some taurus parts don't mix. if ya ha...

Re: Just bought a Taurus 24/7 Gen 2 9mm

i have the 24/7 oss in 9mm with no issues through a few thousand rounds now. it is the most accurate pistol i own. i recently picked up an M&P 9c. you can definately notice the fit and finish difference between the two, but for function, the 24/7 compares well.

Re: Budget Cuts: Taurus 24/7 Pro DS 9mm

Glad you like it, but no way in hell will anything Taurus EVER beat anything HK.Maybe try a Glock 21 if you're trying to dethrone your HK. Why do you say that? Is this from experience with the 24/7 or just purely the standard Taurus hatred everyone seems to have? I love my PT-845. I like shooting i...

Re: Budget Cuts: Taurus 24/7 Pro DS 9mm

i love my oss in 9mm. finish is wearing from a lot of carry, has loose fitting tolerances compared to other semi autos i own...shoots smaller groups @ 25yds than any other hand gun i own. about 2500 rounds so far with only failure being 1 mag out of 5 that does not always lock back. if the occasiona...

Re: Pocket CCW advice? Taurus 738 TCP vs IO Hellcat vs Ruger

just aquired a tcp738 aswell as a pt1911 9mm on sat. 500 bux for both. makes the 5th and 6th taurus pistols i have owned. took em out yesterday and the tcp ran 50 tulammo rounds and 2 mags of speer gdhp without problems. seems to be solid like all the others i have owned, but pretty snappy. the 1911...

waiting for those pics! i got out to shoot 100 rounds through mine yesterday. flawless and beautiful. no issue w/ the tapco mag, it's my only mag till i switch some parts and buy some metal ones. i was worried about the cheek weld, but its not that bad at all. the muzzle break may be ugly, but it do...

i agree on the vision thing. you could hear the dissapointment in his voice when he talked about the tunnel vision and feeling the pressure in the after final episode.

if you have the stock TGI amd-65 DO NOT use imported mags without changing a couple parts to comply w/ 922r. the only things i'm doing to it is remove forward pistol grip, slap some rails on the hand guard for flashlight and aftermarket vfg, and ultimak for vortex red dot. and some kind of rear slin...

you should definately chop that barrel and pistol grip that stock.....then sell it to me for 160 and make yourself 10 bux.

just kidding :D great story and score. that thing is in beauty shape. while not a 97 winchester, i'm happy to have my grandfathers mint H&R .32 long revolver.
