Of note, it seems that Minnesota has a castle doctrine for the home, but not businesses or other such; outside of the home they have a duty to retreat. If they're reducing the police force, I wonder if that will end up changing. Given the guy that wishes he'd given his car keys to a mugger, I'm not...

I live in NOLA...Weird is normal and normal is weird here. On any given day you could see something that would make people go WTF?! My perception of weird is as a result biased. That said one truly weird thing I encountered was in the aftermath of Katrina. I was in the house of a friend helping him...

Re: Home defence with an airgun? Countries with no fire arms allowed
I'm sure it is better than throwing rocks.
There are much bigger, more powerful airguns made - perhaps you should look into them?
Also, be sure of your legal standing if you do happen to use an airgun for defense.

Re: My Job, My Hell...
Well the odds were wrong....just returned home with creepy in tow. Lost an Aunt in Alabama, a good friend from the military and just found out another friend passed away, so I am off (creepy) to another military funeral. Evidently due to my early dumbassery I am not allowed to go anywhere alone. Al...

Re: Women wearing headphones fails to heed active shooter warning, gets shot
Today in Cincinnati, a possible disgruntled bank employee opened fire at his former workplace, killing three people and seriously injuring two more. One of the people shot and possibly killed was a woman who failed to head warnings of an active shooter in the bank, because she had headphones on and...
