Re: Possible bug-out rig
I believe that using a F-150 to pull either of those would be marginal, at best. My experience is pulling a 26 foot Dutchman bumper-pull trailer, across the Rocky Mountains, with a V8 Chevy 1500. There were many interstates where I'd have the Chevy 1500 floor-boarded, and was barely making 55 miles...

So I've done some simple mods and not So simple mods since my last post. On the simple side I added, -Weather tech floor mats front and rear -Canvasback liners in the trunk area and on the back of the rear seats, it's a great product and helps keep the carpet under it very clean. On the the not supe...

Concealment holster for working out
I like to run at night, when I lived in mobile I'd borrow my wife's P22 and have it in my runners fanny pack. (Running at night in mobile can be sketchy) It's small for carrying like a phone some ID and your keys, but the P22 fit perfectly. Longest I ran with that on was 10 miles and it didn't cause...

Re: Driving in the Dark
There are a lot of things that come into play when driving in the dark. Teaching yourself to use certain techniques can help. Most importantly scanning, because of your fovea centralis (night blind spot) if you focus on one spot you will lose focus (it'll disappear) on the object within a few second...

Re: Apartment gardening!
Nice! Here's what I did for my girlfriends garden on our patio. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/06/19/4ehyqy9u.jpg Basically broke apart about 5 pallets I got from lowes and cut the slates in half and used the inside runner of the pallet for the base. I then used 5mil construction plastic for a liner a...

I would say if your stomach problem isn't life threatening and your displaying the signs of a heart attack. The benefits out weigh the cost.

Re: A dangerous move - 'The Tropojë'
When my grandpa gave my father his 1911 one of the first things he showed me is that safety feature. When GIs where deployed to war (Korea) the holster they wore would push the slide back on there 1911s to help prevent any kind of negligent discharge while holstered. Pretty cool little fact,

Re: AR Jam
I agree that manipulating the weapon is the best way to learn, with every gun I've cleaned and field stripped my father took apart real fast in front of me and then said figure it out. Haha hands on I'd the only way to learn and remember. This coming from a non military and non trained person.
