Re: Need Some Pond Advice Involving Snakes and Frogs

just an idea.... go out fishing and bring home a few large mouth bass and dump em in the pond. they wont hurt the plants, they'll eat the frogs, and your snakes... and if you want them gone: throw out a worm and bobber.

Re: challenge: help me curb my problem tunneling moles....

Perhaps it is time for raised beds and container gardens. :/ they're working well, especially with the screening i buried 18" down. potatoes, corn, tomatoes, peppers, kholrabi, eggplant, aritchoke, lettuce, radish, carrot, and lemon cukes are fine. I don't know how much it would set me back to scre...

Re: Unconventional Fishing Kit!

instead of buying cool looking kits, learn a little about fishing..... it's kind of fun.... a pine cone or piece of wood makes a fine bobber, and rocks make pretty good weights... a couple hooks and a little mono line is all you need (I bring a few flies because bait can be a chore) go out and pract...

wait for them to tunnel to the surface to breathe when the ground is saturated with water. Then you whack them. smoke bombs (don't ask) Don't use the sonic repellants near dogs. No experience but this looks like it could take care of your problem: :D love it..... really do. . . but, hey this is my garden and yard, not a field...
