Thanks for the info! Very timely, I'm looking at various large capacity chargers to work with portable solar.

Re: All purpose NFA questions thread
Just a heads up, evidently BATFE is issuing ELECTRONIC stamps to those people who submitted applications via E-forms. No hard copy and "adhesive stamp", which the law states that the stamps must be. These stamps may not be legal. This pisses me off, as all my submissions that I am waiting on stamps ...

Gotta vent and couldn't think of anywhere else appropriate to put it... Man I hate that things a person did years ago can still come back to haunt... Took a course, applied for my CCW permit here in NM and was just denied due to having plead "no contest" in the case where my ex tried to have me con...

Re: Firearms Chat: Stipple that, home edition
I was finally was able to snag a RTF2 receiver to use as a dedicated host for my AA .22 slide. I need to find one more RTF2 frame to build my RMR long slide version with. Then I'll be "RTF_Cubed", lol. Dude, so player-hating on your game right now. I want one of those .22 kits so bad, and you slid ...

Re: Firearms Chat: Stipple that, home edition
Managed to snag another RTF2 G17 frame off Gunbroker to use as a host for my Glock AA .22 Conversion kit.
Those RTF2s are friggin' unicorns. I had to jump on it. Next up is to call Advantage Arms to find out about disassembling the slide so I can strip it and have it cerakoted.

Re: Vertx Tactical Pant / Phantom LT Pant
Same here. I have 5 pairs, with a pair of the new grey colored LTs on the way. These pants show no sign of wear. The only *slightly* annoying thing is that if you have something metal clipped to your right pocket, the metal zipper pull for the hidden pocket will clank against the metal flashlight/me...

TenEight: Thanks, that's one I was looking at. Got any experiences with it? Doc: Not an option with kids who have bedroom access. I don't have any experience with it. I remembered reading about it on ITS Tactical. Seems like it would work well for what you want to use it for. Especially since you h...

Recommendations for a rapid access safe for home defense carbines/bullpups? I've got the usual high security, bolted down stuff for the majority of our gear. However, we'd like access to our carbines/bullpups for home defense if possible, right now we've got a hidden and bolted down pistol storage ...

If in the gym, I just use a backpack close by with the zipper cracked open a bit. If I'm running, I usually just carry a big ass folder. When I owned a P3AT, I ran with that in a clip on holster, and made sure my shorts were tight. I like the HPG rigs, I might need to try one of those :awesome: . Ed...

Re: Selecting an AR lower; parts kit or preassembled?
Is this your first AR? If it is, you should definitely assemble it yourself. I would think nothing of pulling apart my lower to upgrade the trigger, change out the springs or simply field maintain it. I cannot begin to imagine doing any of that if I hadn't built it myself. That comfort level and in...

Hate to be the dick that asks a question answered on page one, but forgive me for not hunting through the 40pages. How much (ballpark) does it cost to get a lawyer to do a trust (I'm in CO if it matters). Forward thinking for a suppressor or two and maybe an sbr. (dammit) Wait and see what happens ...

Re: United States Offline 2meter\70cm Repeater directory
I was wondering that too. I have around 40 gigs or so that I want to dedicate to Google Earth data on the Toughbook that I use to store all my "shtf" docs, etc. Google Earf is just so flipping handy to have. Just total coverage of my one county (streetview to aerial) would be worth the trouble. How ...
