Re: My first book!

Hey guys, I just published my first book! It's a collection of dark horror stories available on Amazon Kindle. Just thought I'd post the news here to give a little more exposure to the book! If you enjoy horror and want a fun, scary read for Halloween, please give it a try. If you do get the book I...

Re: When the Man Wants More Money

First off challenge the bill directly to whomever is in charge of said department. Make them prove to you without a doubt that you actually owe them the money. If it looks like you do, have them send you an itemized bill as was suggested above to buy yourself some time. Figure out what your budget i...

Thanks for the input guys. I think I'll push him in the direction of gunbroker since it does sound like the best option for the few guns he has.

Re: Daniel Defense customer service

One thing I've done several times when on the phone with customer service reps is try to judge where the conversation is going. If it sounds like it's going my way-great! If they're trying to be nice but it's sounding like I'm not going to get what I want I stop them in mid sentence and say, "insert...

Online Auction or Hired Company?

So I have a question for you guys: One of my buddies has a few guns he wants to get rid of and he was going to put them on a local auction service and see what he could get for them. I told him to check into Gunbroker to see if maybe he could sell them for a little better price. My question is which...

This looks like a great design but I wonder if there's been incidences where the opening catch has snagged on clothing upon drawing the blade?

Re: when do you say f*ck it?

In my mind the reason I would serve would be to protect and honor my family and my country. If there was a situation where my country and subsequently my family, wouldn't be around anymore without my direct help I guess I would keep my family alive first and then worry about the country. Protection ...

Re: Oh dear... MEDIC!

This actually kind of scares me if the shit were to hit the fan. Both my older brother and sister had their appendixes out within six months of one another. Wondering if it may be a predispositioned problem and no matter what I do I'm going to be screwed or if diet and lifestyle had a lot to do with...

I thought you was going to say a male prostitute but instead you chose something much more gay than that. Lol jk looks like a nice rifle man. For that price be sure to post a range review..im interested to see how well it performs on paper :) May want to keep that kind of talk under wraps around he...

Re: When Serial Killers Attack...

Whenever something occurs that suggests you or a group you are a part of is being targeted, by individuals or other groups, you need to ratchet up your situational awareness. ^This. In my opinion situational awareness is key in avoiding problems small and large. Being cautious when you feel like a ...

Re: Your apocalyptic photography thread

Thought I'd try my hand at a little photography. Always wanted to do this and this thread gave me the extra push. Loaded up the family and went in search of some broken down buildings. Sorry if the size of the photos are obnoxious, haven't completely got the hang of posting pics yet... http://i1199....

Re: Robopocalypse

Yeah, pretty decent end of the world book. Actually very creepy beginning as to how the bots became aware. I would recommend it to anyone who liked WWZ, although it didn't have the punch that WWZ had. Still a cool story.

Re: Can ya recommend a decent spotlight under $120?

I'm a big fan of Fenix lights so I'd probably go with this one:

Lots of power, has the option for rechargeable batteries, and different output modes. Not bad for around $110.00

Re: Left 4 Dead 1 or 2

Played both pretty extensively, I would have to say L4D2 is more engaging as it has a few better weapons (SCAR) and overall I liked the levels better. Both games are really fun though but as it was said earlier, not truly a survival horror-more of a shoot, shoot, shoot and shoot some more bloodbath ...

Re: This is the knife I want

Let's just put a sharp end on an air compressor hose and call it good. Well, a compressor hose doesn't contain compressed air by default, so you must include the compressor. Most compressors aren't exactly as easily portable as a few 12g CO2 containers, IME. You're right, but saying Let's ju...

I'm pretty sure it's almost the exact same script as the video, which was pulled off of another website. Just saying it's been discussed and locked already. Not that it isn't a different point of view I just have a hard time listening to someone regurgitating another person's words with dramatic ef...
