Re: Stuff Sack Selection

The Grey Ghost Gear are a damn good buy for the money. Though they are not waterproof they will protect against light moisture invasion. I fit a full gortex set in the large.

Woot has Kershaw Compound Folders for $9.99. On phone so no links. Can never go wrong with a ten dollar Kershaw and no such thing as to many knives

LAPG and USCAV have great prices and good customer service but again high shipping. But hey look at the costs of fuel as it rises so will everything else. That being said Amazon Prime is the shit and Ebay only on items with free ship.

Re: Eberlestock - Tactical Packs

Caved in and bought the Destroyer last week  Only used it for one overnighter so far though, almost filled to the rim with gear, and man... This is a comfortable pack! The size is almost perfect for me, it only needs one or two more Molle pouches, then it's golden. I'm one happy campe...

Re: Eberlestock - Tactical Packs

You got yourself a great pack brother. I love the military green it's more of a light Foilage green but it's beautiful. I love my GS2 and really dying to get me a G4 operator or the Destroyer in dry earth. They make a thin metal frame to retain your pack shape (keep it square) for just a few bucks b...

Re: What have you bought lately? (Bug Out Version)

Ordered two new holster sets (custom Kydex) for my G19/17 and 26. Also ordered 3 sets of mechanix wear "covert" gloves as I own 6 pair of work gloves by them and deployed with some so I swear by them. Dont have to say tacticool in the name to be highly functional.

Re: Eberlestock - Tactical Packs

The GS2 is a damn fine pack. It's not designed for 3 day it's more of a 24-36 hr assault pack. I use mine as a so called attack pack as it's loaded with glock mags, shotgun shells and my Mossberg along with gloves, gortex and yada yada. Hell with all that's going on in the country right now it's pro...

Re: Full out tactical or blended in and discreet

I'm an Eberlestock and SOC Gear fan boy myself. It wont make a damn bit of difference if it's "Tacticool" or not as army surplus is always present in SHTF events. Check out this new Eberlestock "Civilian" looking bag. Larger pack:http://www.emgear.net/Products/ProductPage.aspx?id=2179 Small pack:htt...

It is the glory of owning a 357 revo. Dual caliber multipurpose mechanical genius weapons system. I very rarely use 357 rnds out of my Sp101 except when carrying, I always play/practice with 38's.

Dont forget to look into the Sandpiper of California (S.O.C Gear) they have a great selection at USCAV to choose from. I humped the extended range bug out bag all over Kuwait/Iraq back in 03'/04' and it has a metric chit ton hauling/capacity capability. Very well built and made in USA or at least it...

Re: Advice needed - New Pack - Kifaru, Eberleystock or?

There are reviews on the battleship, the operator, and several other Eberlestock bags on the forum. I LOVE Eberlestock bags. I can't imagine thinking the Gunslinger II (which my head is resting on now) is too heavy. The rifle scabbard is one of the reasons I got a GUNSLINGER (the whole pack is buil...
