Re: 9x18mm Mak
I would not run that stuff in a P64. May I ask why? I'm guessing it's a pressure issue , but that's off the cuff. thats correct. i asked about it over at the p64 forum (yes there actually is one) and it was a pretty firm no. it may work for one mag. it may work through 100. i wouldnt risk it if it ...

Re: these damn %$! mantles. Please help me with my lantern.
In my experience you don't have to burn them off. Just install and fire it up. I do them both ways and both seem to work equally well. this is the way ive always done it and never had an issue. Related to this, I'm looking at picking up a couple of kerosine lanterns - any good recommendations or ca...

ummmm what? how do you make a bolt action into a semi auto?Das Sheep wrote:Neither.
Get an RPK.
Vepr's are based on the RPK action, which is the LMG version of the mosin action. And you can get them in a number of calibers, including x39. The x39 or the .223 ones can take normal magazines too.

A'ight, sounds pretty simple, and those sound like some easy tricks re: fishing line, paper towels, and index cards.
