Re: Lets Talk Air Rifles!

I had a Diana 52 in .177 borrowed from a friend here for a few months, it was made in the 80's and I loved this rifle, powerfull, accurate and classic. The side lever and fixed barrel form an interesting system. I shot a coconut and the heavy pellets went all the way through... https://picasaweb.goo...

A.C.E, I'm really sorry I totally forgot about this subject until the guy sent me the model today because he is too full of work to make more of these now. He sent two different sizes, on the links below: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BwU5q4iN77wMX0VTaEJGYXRLTWc/view https://drive.google.com/file...

Re: Apocalypse training in WV (MBO Entry)

The setup was good, it was only bad luck on the rotten log. If you were spendind more time there you could have replaced that in the morning and fixed your campsite. But that was a good experience. I think the objective of the mock bug outs was achieved. You tested your gear, your skills and strateg...

Did you induce the patina with mustard?

Don't know if anyone posted this before(won't read all those pages now) but I think that's a small price for a monster ferro rod: http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51H88Ny-geL.jpg http://www.amazon.com/Factory-12-7mmx12-7cm-Ferrocerium-Magnesium-Survival/dp/B00UHD41T6/ref=pd_sim_468_1?ie=UTF8&re...

Custom mini Parang I got as a birthday gift from a friend knifemaker and artistic blacksmith. This thing is a serious chopper yet it's light and compact. I have abused the poor thing and caused no damage to any part of the blade or the edge. It's forged in 1085 steel. http://i.imgur.com/hsJ3czxl.jpg...

Great post, I like how your stove works well, because that means mine works too. :o I have to get me a mosquito net for the hammock, my house and overall area looks like the matrix for all the bugs in the planet. This morning my wife said she was kind off shocked because the mosquito that passed by ...

I'd happily order one from the same guy, but I'm thinking shipping it halfway across the globe would be kinda cost-prohibitive.
I'll ask him.

Nop that credit goes for the guy who made it.

I just asked him to replace the standard square front opening for the drawing of my hat that I sent him.

He liked the idea and made like this.

Re: My new camping wood stove

I really meant string, if you don't use a bag to carry the parts you can tie them together. The holes align when you pile them all like in the first pic. I think aluminum works too, but the steel feels more durable. I think it's a personal matter in the end. A couple of friends are suggesting I sell...
