Re: "Daily COVID-19 SITREP In Your Area"

Well Kuwait is damn near on lockdown. They’re going to be restricting all flights in and out, only ones who can fly are actual Kuwaiti’s and cargo aircraft. Shopping centers, banks and gov offices will be closed for the next 2 weeks. Going to get interesting I think.

Re: "Daily COVID-19 SITREP In Your Area"

7 March Here in Kuwait it’s been back and forth on response to this. So far they have 61 confirmed cases, all confined to quarantine areas. They took over a local hotel, right across from my apartment I might add, and are using it to quarantine those returning from Iran who may be infected. They are...

Re: Air Force "Shoot to Disarm" training? SRSLY?

As a former Air Force security forces member I can say we were never taught "kill shots" or "wounding shots". We were taught to shoot the threat until the threat is over.

This is really cool to watch. I've been looking at playing the land game myself. However I spend too much time overseas to really get the opportunity to really shop around.

Re: Coffee dip pouches

Many people think they thought of it first, myself included. As an example of a much, much newer idea I have been considering is the concept of creating a battle boat of some kind that operates independently while completely under water. Crazy talk. How would it even run? You'd kill the crew with t...

Seems like an idea I had back in Afghanistan, looks like these guys actually made it work.

Anyone got any thoughts on this idea?

Re: Sequel to One Second After......One Year After

Pretty good story. The one thing I notice more and more often though with these kind of stories is the whole government is trying to kill us/detain us vibe. In a real world event such as the one described I have a hard time imaging US troops doing the things described at times. Am I just being naive...

I have to say, it's always fun to read stories based in my own backyard. It's fun to know exactly where they're at when stuff goes down.

You need to check out the Zombies, Run app. It's a running app that is pretty entertaining and helpful. Plus it gets you acclimated for the zombie hordes.

Re: Has anyone ever heard of the Snow Lizard phone cases?

I had one of these for the iPhone 4. It did have a solar charger, and was a pretty damn good case. Three main issues that I noticed. First, the hinge and latch on the phone started cracking early on, which resulted in the latch finally breaking off. I just duct taped it shut after that. Secondly, th...

Like This? CNN wrote: A broad-daylight hatchet assault on a group of New York police officers -- leaving one critically injured with a head wound -- was carried out by a self-radicalized convert to Islam in what officials Friday termed a terrorist attack... More at the link above sigh. And this is ...

Re: Terrorist Attack in Canada - Ottawa In Full Lockdown

It'll be interesting to learn more details behind this attack. I have a bad feeling that we are going to be seeing more of these size attacks as time goes on. We keep hearing about all these folks who get stopped trying to head overseas to join ISIS and the like, what's going to happen when they dec...

Freeze dried cooking........FROM MARS!!!!

So during a late night internet browsing sessions I came upon a research group who were investigating the feasibility of a long term stay on Mars. One of the more interesting subjects that caught my eye was the food research and menu options that were being developed. I thought that those of us who ...

I'm listening to the radio feed, and it's an absolute shit show right now. Shots being fired everywhere, police were supposed to pull back but they keep getting reports of shots being fired, just now reports of shots being fired into a crowd. Multiple reports of looting. One report of a security off...
