Thy Lord of Firepower teaches thy mere mortal a lesson in which thy Lord showith thy path to true righteousness with overbearing firepower.
Thus endth the sermon.............

It is still .357 Magnum in a semi-auto and sadly.....way out of my price range at the moment.

Re: Revolver versus Pistol

At the time my M92, forgot what model, but it was old, had a trigger pull like an SOB, one of the many reasons why I sold it when I did, now the .38 had an easier trigger pull for me, dunno why, but I just liked the feel, granted the Glocks and Sigs I drool over have much nicer triggers than either ...

Re: lions and snakes and bears oh my, need advice on my .44

Went into bear country with a .12 Remington 870 and a .357 Colt Python, had two buddies, one had a .308 and the other guy had a .270 and a .45 1911, between the three of us we bagged four deer and scared the shit out of a momma black bear that walked into our camp looking for her cubs, so if you got...

Re: Revolver versus Pistol

Personally, I wore a S&W J-frame .38 in a ankle holster and carried a M92 9mm in the car, simply for the sake of being armed with something bigger than a pizza cutter, I'd take the .38 with me into work with me and the larger semi-automatic stayed out in the car to see me home in the event I ran int...

Re: thoughts on 45-70??

Fired one three times, each shot was aimed at a badger and I bagged two, 15 years old with bruised shoulders, thought I could punch through a tank with it, but it did an excellent number on the badgers....
