Re: Strictly Multitools

I have a bit of a fetish for multitools I have several grebe military 600 series. they are OK but stay in kits so there is a multitool there if I happen to not have one. I have had several SOG models given to me and after my first SOG experience (generalized tool explosion) I will not own them...the...

I have several pieces of adventure tech stuff (base layers and spy hoodie) I love them and they have held up well over the past 3 years. I do not have any expire with the level 5 or level 6 stuff though

Re: WTS:Mystery Ranch Multicam 6500 Grizzly

Still got it. a lot of people have been asking me about trades. the only things that I would consider in potential trades is a good commercial sewing machine (walking foot strait stitch) or possibly a kifaru ZXR in multicam. Not really interested in other gear sorry. I make my own gear and my machin...

Re: Hammock help needed please?

I prefer Hennessy. I have used ENO and several others. I was least impressed with the ENO. it offers zero support and you pretty much have to sleep on your back, with a Hennessy asymmetrical once you are in if you set it up correctly you can sleep on your side, your belly or relatively flat on your ...

Re: Ad Hoc Hunting Gear/Primitive Hunting Gear

I made few bows back in the day at boy scout camp that were not to bad. But Last year a Montangyard co worker taught me how to make a traditional Yard cross bow. we made all of it in he field with stuff we found in the woods minus the paying card we used for the fletching and the 550 we used for the...

Re: need help finding a hand mic for yaesu

the point is buying one that doesn't brake. I can't afford to carry extra. maybe put a few extra at the house or the BOL. but my INCH bag + rifle + kit weighs in at 101 lbs. ounces are pounds and pounds are pain. All the miss on Ebay I have tried. I was thinking more like a Thales Mic for an MBITR w...

need help finding a hand mic for yaesu

not quiet as easy as the title reads. I need a hand mic that will accept an ear bud (if I want to) that the clip will not break...it is for a Yaesu FT-60r I think I am on my fifth or sixth hand mic. after braking a few Yaesu brand miss I moved to an AK defense. it is a nice mic and looks tough but I...

Re: combat communication

my group is running yaesu FT-60r. with a wide variety of antennas. as far as miss I usually run a AK defense "trooper" mic with ear bud or a custom TCI PTT with my sordid headset. I LOVE the sordid head set. I am near deaf in one ear and it is a cross between a hearing aid, como head set, and ear pr...

Re: Mast Antenna for Plate Carrier

I have ran pretty much every antenna on the planet at one time or another for my kit. I have spent more money on combo crap than any other kind of kit. I am not a huge fan of mast antennas nor the blade antennas both of the seem to hang on very thing. Blade antennas want to unfold at un opportune ti...

Re: Free Swiss Porn! (56k fantasize only!)

I used to have a Schmidt Rubin k-31 just like that . Mine didn't look near as good as that one does though. stock up on ammo for that thing.I think cheaper than dirt has it and I know Wiedner's in Tennessee has it. The 7.5 swiss is a really flat shooting round and will easily reach out to 800m. wish...

go Surge...I am a huge Leatherman gun. have several Supertools. I LOVE my surge and Wave. I just bought a MUT. I love it but it is a bit heavy and doesn't have scan opener. I seem to have bad luck with SOGs and Gerbers. Gerbers brake, and SOGs walk off. Just my two cents

I am looking to purchase a Glock .22LR conversion kit to go in my BOB as a liter weight alternative to carrying my mosquito or my 22/45.
