Re: What are you playing?
I've actually been playing--perhaps somewhat appropriately--Fallout 76. You can even scavenge toilet paper. Beat Saber on PSVR, which is by far my favorite way to do cardio. Huh, might oughta drag out my HMD and give that a try for exercise. Not gonna lie Beat Saber is the reason I'm gonna get a PC...

Just got it last night: Arizona Sunshine.
Pacing is really weird but the mechanics are adequate and it's basically a large plinking simulator

Lights, cargo and sound systems, oh my! Or: Advice from the Hive Mind?
Howdy all! Just bought a new to me Hybrid Ford Escape yesterday. I'd like to maintain my MPG as much as possible (I work as a caregiver, VA doesn't pay mileage for the work I do) and the modifications it needs to suit me are pretty minor. Right off the top: Lights. Gonna convert all the lights I can...

Now this is something I didn't know! Appears your memory is correct though.JeeperCreeper wrote: ↑Tue Nov 05, 2019 6:27 pmSkip the 2008 model years. They are the same under the body as the gen 1 models. They only updated the body panels.
2009 is when you get the full mechanical/drivetrain upgrade, from what I remember

Dogan's car replacement quest, or, talk me out of a hybrid Escape.
Howdy all. Just rolled over a quarter million miles in the 2005 Forester I got in large part thanks to comments on azrael99's "Looking for a compact SUV or AWD vehicle" thread, and I think it's time to retire it. AWD has been nice especially in the rare snow but realistically I'm chasing fuel econom...

Thanks to a corrupted hard drive... replaying F04, no mods, going for "Peace among worlds" ending where Minutemen, BOS and Railroad are all okay with each other and you nuke the Institute, and also shooting for 100%. Looking out for a used copy of Metro: Exodus which I have tempered expectations for...

Oh wow, it's been a minute since I posted here. Replaying FO4, with mods this time. It's just so much nicer when it looks like The War was 200 years ago and not last week. Also deliberately didn't do anything Minuteman related cause I don't want to deal with Preston. May beat the game aligning with ...

The MP5 PDW version did not come out until the 90s 1991, to be specific. But to be fair, in keeping with the "nearly unlimited resources under the umbrella of the DOE and powerful enough to literally open a portal to another dimension" theme of Hawkins Lab, is it unreasonable that they may have dec...

I too have long been a subscriber, and I support the channel through Patreon as well. It's a quality channel that I'd love to see picked up by a network like Discovery. I think Discovery would screw it up. They'd add a bunch of unnecessary drama just for ratings. Personally, I'd rather see a networ...

Would a tennis racket, affixed to a AR pistol, be considered a brace due to not being designed to shoulder, or a stock due to "redesign" reasons? In all honesty I'll probably just wrap the buffer tube to look like a racket handle for the sake of the joke, but still. Inquiring minds want ZS's educate...

Maybe I should use something that has magnification built in instead of having to mount two separate things? Honestly that decision comes down to what you need and what you're comfortable with. The short list: * Magnifiers as a rule have lower quality glass than scope or RDS, not sure if this is ac...

For what it is worth, Green Tip is supposed to be able to punch through UHMWPE armor pretty well if it has enough velocity. Also, hasn't UHMWPE been phased out by all but the sketchiest of dealers/manufacturers due to how quickly it breaks down under heat and humidity (as in you wear it and it beco...

T MINUS 26 DAYS 19 HOURS A forecasted one million plus people will be coming to my Oregon to watch the eclipse. I really wish the 17 M2 would have been successful. A guy at my gun range let me borrow a contender barrel back when it was the new hotness. Stupid accurate. No recoil. Great for small game. I've always wanted a Mk1 Target in 17M2 because why not. Something about bottle necked cartridges in handgun...

Nice buy!!! I've been shopping for a forester (pre-CVT) myself for my residency in Alaska!! How many miles? You get a good deal? Any issues or anything?? 180k miles, $3000 after some interesting bargaining, none save for some neglected hardware (sticky latches, missing interior trim), small road sa...
