Re: Colloidal Silver Generator - Setting Up

There's no evidence whatsoever to support a medicinal benefit of colloidal silver, and a non-negligible amount showing that it has harmful effects. Not that I exactly support a nanny-state mentality or anything, but should this really be getting posted on ZS? :?

Re: My ideal weapon - feedback appreciated

Now you may be seeing the difference between Other Weapons and Zombie Combat Tactics. But I'm not a mod, they'll sort it if they see the need to. Melee weapons are toys, backups, and primary weapons in places where people can't buy/possess firearms. Just my opinion, though. Other, more worldly poste...

Re: My ideal weapon - feedback appreciated

That's why I mentioned that I want a longer version of this hammer. And I didn't mean to cause controversy with the scavenging remark haha, just figured that in a hypothetical apocalypse a government would not be in power and, in turn, legal/illegal would be relative. And I never mentioned armor pe...

Re: How do you increase your situational awareness?

For me, taking an MSF course (yes, motorcycle training) drastically increased my situational awareness. But I had an excellent experience across the board. Joining the military has been a bump, too.

Re: My ideal weapon - feedback appreciated

Hello Everyone, This is my first time posting on ZS. I have been thinking about my gear, strategy, and the questions below for almost two years now so, if you're going to criticize, please be constructive. Thanks. Okay, during the zombie apocalypse I will be using a warhammer as my primary weapon. ...

Re: The first BOV in our soon to grow BOV Fleet.

I'm talking about a complete body replacement on a vehicle that will never see use unless there's a reason to need a tank. Basically, all I'm keeping is the frame, engine, running gear, and suspension. It'll be hidden away outside of town unless it's needed. The 2000 Explorer is the one that I actu...

Re: Help me pick a 9mm

Open or concealed carry gun? Range toy? Centerpiece on your mantle? Knowing the purpose of your weapon will go a long way in making good suggestions.

For now, the standard answer is...you can't go wrong with a Glock 19.

From a guy who wears Vibrams 12 hours a day, they're made to let your foot flex. That's a real bad idea when you're trying to let a broken bone heal. Wear something else. :clownshoes:

No third option, eh? From a former ground-floor apartment dweller, I'd recommend staying away from that, especially in a highly urban area. If you can stomach the commute, I think the choice is obvious. However, chances are good you'll burn out on it quickly--God knows I did. I take it as nothing el...

I managed to catch a few segments this evening. It seemed to a be a friggin' joke. Remember that no matter what, there is a limit on the amount of fuel you can carry without those hazard plates and proper licensing.

Re: thinking of changing up the wifes BOV some..

If you're not going to put on larger brakes, there's no reason to run larger wheels. They're heavier, unless you go with exotic lightweight wheels what cost an arm and a leg, and this results in decreased performance and fuel economy. Also, they tend to be harder to get rubber for in situation where...

Re: How to handle an encounter Leo's while OC??

Well...step 1: Don't carry a video camera around. Step 2: Cooperate. Just give em some ID if they ask fr it. Step 3: Don't be all nervous and twitchy. A pocket audio recorder is much more discrete, given you're in a one-party consent state, and will still provide protection in the court of law. Adv...

Go to a shop and rent some, fire them, see what you like. A Judge is the answer to the question nobody asked, for the record.

Off the bat, I'm gonna say Glock 17 or 19. That gives you a lot of opportunity to grow with your firearm.
