Re: Packable Tinder
Not available for purchase, but char cloth is the most amazing tinder I've ever used. If you can open a tuna can and at least occasionally have a campfire, char cloth is easy to make. Unless you count ebay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Charcloth-char-cloth-Fire-starter-Bushcraft-Survival-12-ft-x-2-in-/2...

Re: What is your favorite beer OR what are you currently try
The Von Trapp lodge in Stowe Vermont has started to bottle their own beers. I found a mixed 12 pack of four styles at a local
beverage store. With Pilsner lager, Vienna lager, Helles lager and Dunkel (dark).
I am pretty impressed with their brews, cheers.

Re: What is your favorite beer OR what are you currently try
14th Star Brewery Valor Ale, it's on the hoppy side so almost like an IPA, but very full flavored. Veteran owned and operated brewery near where I live in VT, they also have an absurd sounding but amazing tasting maple breakfast stout and their Tribute Double IPA is nothing to scoff at. You are rig...

Walked into the LGS and they had an old Butler Creek 10/22 / Mini 14/30 stock with wire folding buttstock. "Old looking" anyway, the original price tag said $74.99 and it was marked down to $30. Meh, don't really need it, but I figure it'll look good next to some of my retro firearms if I can pick ...

Re: BAE Caiman MRAP: info needed
Actually inclement weather is a very good use for these. I recall reading an article about a small town whose Sheriff's dept had an M113 (presumably for SWAT/ERT). One of the only times it was used 'live' was during a snow storm. Nothing else could get down the roads and they were able to delivery ...
