This is a knife I made for my dad. it's O1 Tool steel with ziricote wood handle. This was the first knife I have ever made. So I learned a lot about how to go along with the next one.. Hopefully they get better and better. (btw I don't have finished pics of the handle and blade, looks that same just...

Re: My '76 Powerwagon

went wheeling with a few people... now it's time to spend another 3k. Wish i made more money.. next thing on the list is the new exhaust. Then I will finish the fenders and some other loose body pieces, which will end with it having a herculined bed, lower body panels and new paint. Much easier to w...

Re: My '76 Powerwagon

Chevy springs are too long. You will have to cut the brackets and re-locate them to work correctly. I believe some of the eye's are a different size as well. The long chevy rear springs make the suspension very flexy. http://www.ramchargercentral.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ha...

Re: Let's build a truck!

Let's start out with our favorite rig...Ford, Chevy,Toyota. It's mod time!. I will start out with a pair of Dana 60 diffs front and rear(rockwell 2.5's for the rich guys out there). Winch and a 2 Hi Jack's, what else should we add? if you look you can find a good set of rockwells cheaper than a set...

Re: Making a car battery heater for winter

I drive an old VW Bug, my bad...i should have read the post more carefully... and the pic kinda gave it away also...maybe do some fabricating and put in an alternator instead of the generator...make things a little easier for ya...without an outside plug your options are pretty limited. good luck.

you'd be better off buying a heaterline heater rated for 800w or more depending on the size of the cooling system.... they're easy they tie into the heater lines and mount on the fender wall..so all you have to do is plug it in at night just like a diesel... i used to run one on my dodge in winter d...

Personally i would run a late 80's chevy 4x4 with a 6" lift and some gnarly tires.. possibly 37" Boggers or even less aggressive TSL's. I would prefer running a 3/4ton instead of a 1/2ton for strength issues. But I would definately try and find a truck with fuel injection or throttle body Gotta mak...
