They will try to get your 700 dollars.
You will begin to curse Wayne and Chris for the mail, phone calls and emails requesting for more money. :)

Re: EMP proof chainsaw

Some of them have ignition modules instead of just a coil pack. I don't know what that would mean for EMP though That is what I am wondering. A lot of features/improvements have been added over the years dealing with carbs, emissions, and safety devices. My best bet would probably try to buy extra ...

Re: EMP proof chainsaw

Nope, I just have a severe and great fear of EMPs and I love Stihls. I am just curious on this subject. I have a small homeowner Stihl ( uneducated purchase), and considering what needs to be cut at times I want a larger one for felling, clearing, firewood, and cleaning up trees after one of Missour...

EMP proof chainsaw

Does anyone know of a new production chainsaw that is not effected by an EMP? I am goin Stihl MS 290 Farm Boss or MS-362, but I am not sure if they are immune to EMPs. There are a lot of new features on saws that sound like they would be potential EMP casualties. I cant find a clear cut (no pun inte...

Re: Dumbest advice you have ever heard for preparedness and

Actually, I have done this. Well sort of.... In STL we have a couple ethnic neighborhoods. I lived in one, the Irish one called "Dogtown". In STL there are 2 St. Patrick's day parades due to the fact one group was sending money to the IRA. The "IRA" one, the wild one, is held in Dogtown. My place wa...

3) "You don't need to hoard [water/ammo/supplies/etc.] if you have faith." That one really bugs me  remind them that God helps those that help themselves. He had Joseph 'prep' by storing 7 years worth of grain for the whole country. We try very hard to not go down this path cause all that wil...

Re: Dumbest advice you have ever heard for preparedness and

Well to be fair I wouldn't say an AR is all you need. A decent pistol to accompany your AR is pretty important. But a pistol/AR combo is pretty tasty. Why u hate AR Nutpantz? I don't hate the AR platform.I don't love it.but it dose the job it was designed for very well. But to call the AR platform ...

Re: Dumbest advice you have ever heard for preparedness and

This deserves to go in this thread. This never gets old. "Get a double-barreled shotgun. Have the shells in the 12 gauge shotgun. And I promise you — as I told my wife — we live in an area that's in the woods and somewhat secluded. I said, "Jill, if there's ever a problem, just walk out on the balco...

I have heard that 501(c)3s have first dibs on many government auctions (at least in MO).

Dilema (HELP ME DECIDE!)

I am getting a firearm soon due to me getting money. I have 20 different makes and models in my head. I need some ideas please. I have 1000-1500 to spend. Thinking FAL but parts availability worries me. Thinking about a "black rifle" due to future legal concerns I see. Could use a DMR type rifle. I ...
