Re: The Unwelcome Sign

Such as the Militia pay..maybe include a survivors benefit if they are killed so their family is taken ca...

What about a Surly BD with one of the trailers? The surly trailers are 300lb rated and BD 400lb rated andhas disk brakes so should handle the load. Which post were you referring to? I was just thinkning in general response as a potential BOBicycle...That might be too much weight to travel with thou...

Re: tactical response
It has been my experience that if you feel uncomfortable in anything the instructors were doing they would stop the class to go over the issue or give extra one on one instruction. At all times if someone didnt feel comfortable with a drill or activity they did not have to participate...there was ab...

Re: tactical response
I've trained with them before and would again. Their curriculum is always evolving and they have very good instructors. I've seen that they tend to follow along the lines of the other major training schools and talk about the pros and cons of their techniques and why they do a things their way. They...

Re: Help me pick my first 9mm
OP here, Thanks for all suggestions, I have been doing my homework on this 9mm for about a month prior to this post and had pretty much narrowed it down to the BHP or CZ but I wanted feedback from the good decent zombie fearing community. These both look like winners to me but I need to view that f...

Re: Magpul Dynamics
The folks at Magpul Dynamics (hell, pretty much any reputable instructor) advocate using the slide release (either thumb) as well as "power stroking." Whatever works for you. Both TTP's are completely valid. So long as one knows why they are doing something... Just to satisfy my curiousity...what a...

I just read the story from the start again all the way to the most current posts ...AWESOME...just as good as I remember... What really sticks out to me, primarily as I'm from a very cold climate up here in Alberta, Canada...The growing season and availability of food to those in Florida. I thank Go...

...many US companies won't train Canadians... They're on to you http://literalminded.files.wordpress.com/2011/03/futurama_fry_looking_squint.jpg Aaaaanyway... Good Video for How To of home defense?
There is a lot of good info/videos on weapon manipulation - strong hand, weak hand, malfunction drills, awkward positions etc... such as the Magpul videos and that genre. I've even taken some firearm courses, but again all focused on firearm manipulation. Yes I know that get training is the best ans...

Still in the midst of the re-read and getting the character voices back in working order. Daughter's wedding is Saturday but I've already started re-outlining the next couple of posts but definitely will not get anything posted before then. To make things easier to read I'm blocking the story out i...
