Re: *Gear Review*: Hill People Gear Chest Pack

Thanks for the link and the review, this is definitely an item going on the wish list, especially since I am a travel light and functional type of person; this is right up my ally for being able to pack a few more items without having to get a bigger bag.

Re: Are you fit enough?

I like to think of myself as fit.I am one of those light weight guys, 6'1 and 150 something. I am 24 and have to have a knee surgery, and suspect that when I get my shoulder checked out it will not have cartilage either. I get a 286 on the APFT (that is in the 17-21 bracket), so I score a generally ...

Re: Hoodie

think about this though. When we bite we can't bite past a certain point because of pain so we back off. hypothetically speaking, if a zombie bit you it probably would not have the problems of pain that humans do so it would probably be able to bite down harder and tear through that hoodie, kind of ...

Re: Kitsunes' FAK

No, I dont really need 6; I just happen to own that many. I plan on significantly increasing the amount of consumerables, as well as getting things like peroxide and iodine. Also going to practice small sutures and adding a suture kit.

Re: Looking for a very specific hat....

The problem I run into is that all the contractor hats I come across are always to big, that particular one fits just right.

Re: Questions for Military members

1) Much like gravediggerfour, I have more mags, more ammo, more medical supplies, and overall better logistics at my house than at work. I also have a month old son and his mother. I will not be reporting. And if I do report it will be just long enough to figure out whats going on, grab some boxes ...

Re: Military & Shotguns?

I am an infantry guy in Iraq right now. My platoon runs missions everyday. Myself and two other guys were issued shotguns before we deployed, and even had training on them. It is not that the army does not use shotguns or does not flaunt them. Shotguns in modern combat have a wide variety of uses, f...

Re: NC Meet and Greet

Wow, it has been awhile since I popped my head into the NC meet and greet thread. I also agree that a casual thing for a first meet is a good idea. If everyone decides to do something in early november I have a chance of being able to make it. If not then when I am officially back from Iraq I am def...

Re: Tactical Zombie Training

I will say that the MILES gear is probably your worst bet. a lot of times all you have to do to fire the laser off is bumb it, anything can block the laser (I believe a blade of grass was already mentioned), and it is bulky and does not stay in place. Siminition rounds are probably the best bet for ...

Re: Iraq 09

That might very well be the case here. I might just be to stubborn to like it. but the jams is a good point. A gunner that knows the job and is constantly in the turret, ecspecially with an m2, should be able to fix a problem very quickly, where as with the crow, the time alone it takes to get from ...
