Re: Thrift Shop finds

A woodland camo Tactical Tailor MAV with bib, three double mag, two frag and two canteen/utility pockets.....$28 bucks from my local surplus shop. I just wanted a frag pouch to put my compass on my life vest. I'll be happy with what I got, though. If you just wanted the frag pouch, I'll take the re...

Re: Firearms Chat.....Sans catchy title

How long do y'all think it'll be before we see one of those made of something like aluminum ? Although, I suppose if the material used is a high strength polymer (like whatever Glock makes their frames out of), it'll be no issue. The file is for a 3D printer, which sadly is just ABS or similar plas...

Re: Firearms Chat.....Sans catchy title

I kinda want one of those Colt Mustang XSP's. Their guns always do well in re-sale and you ever shot one of those Mustangs? Comfortable. I'm not paying $650 for a .380 though. Yeah. Especially not one with a polymer frame. If I could snag one for around $450, I would do so in a heartbeat. I've want...

Re: Firearms CHAT, the whateverth

Go for an upgraded BCG of some kind, chrome, NiBor/EXO, or similar. The prices on those were already higher pre-panic, and haven't risen as much as standard BCG's. There is a significant performance advantage to coated BCG's, so you won't be paying more for nothing. Sent from my HTC VLE_U using Tap...

Re: Firearms CHAT, the whateverth

So, I managed to build an awesome AR for relatively cheap in the midst of the panic. Well... almost. I've got everything it needs to shoot except a BCG. This includes a BCM 16" mid length upper, BCM gunfighter charging handle, MIAD grip, CTR stock, Spikes H buffer, etc. etc. All of that for about $8...

The majority is happening in Watertown. It's not very spread out. If you look on google maps, you can follow them street by street. I'm in Georgia right now, but I have a ton of friends in that area. I'm worried sick.

trigger technique... if you are not pinning the trigger after it breaks and shooting to reset like you should be it can cause this Damn. I've never had this happen with any other gun. Weird trigger slap with XD9

So, I went shooting the other week with a used (new to me) XD9. I started off shooting a 16 round magazine filled with Federal hollowpoints. All 16 rounds provided an insane amount of trigger slap. So insane that I received a very large blister on my index finger, as well as a small, but deep gash w...

WTS Gerber multi tool, Kershaw boot knife, rain boots

Gerber suspension multi tool, slightly used. Comes with nylon sheath. $20 shipped. Sold. Kershaw boot knife. This knife is awesome, but has been abused. It is in pretty rough condition. The grips are scratched all over, and the blade has some wear. The tip is slightly bent, but this is still a serv...

I just got my first bladder recently, and it's a 3L source bladder. Great quality. I'm truly impressed. I hope to have a chance to use it soon!
