Re: Complete AR-15 rifles brand new for 399.99

Ya I will definitely save up for the next Black Friday sale. Those tend to be the best. I'm anticipating rifle kits for $299 and if that happens I would dbag one just because. A why not type of purchase just like you did. PSA is definitely doing their part to put more rifles in the hands of more Ame...

Re: Complete AR-15 rifles brand new for 399.99

I have been buying/building from PSA for years. Over Easter I bought a $350 PTAC build kit and added a $60 Anderson lower. After shipping and tax it came out to exactly $450. I didn't think it could get cheaper than that. I guess I was wrong. Makes me wonder if we will ever see rifle kits for 299 o...

Re: Complete AR-15 rifles brand new for 399.99

Uh oh. Looks like I just made another PSA addict. Dude, the daily emails are my gun porn. This company has amazing prices nobody can equal. All the way from entry level complete AR's to full mil spec uppers or rifle kits. palmetto state is the spot for great deals ammo/ar/anything awesome. Beware sh...

Re: Complete AR-15 rifles brand new for 399.99

Wow that's crazy cheap. Ya I miss the ammo prices but at least the AR is an everyman's rifle now. People used to buy kel tec or mini 14 as a cheap .223/5.56 alternative rifle now there is no need for that anymore unless that is what you prefer. Full cold hammer forged barreled and mil spec rifles/ri...

Re: Complete AR-15 rifles brand new for 399.99

And here I was, thinking I was done buying guns for a while...... Thanks, you basically just dangled a rock in front of a crackhead. Edit: Are they sold out?? I can't find anything for these mythical $400 ARs on Palmetto's site... This was one of their daily deals. If you are an AR fan I can't reco...

Complete AR-15 rifles brand new for 399.99

Guys and gals it's been a while since I was here but I thought this group would benefit from this. I remember people (me included) always looking for quality functioning AR's for cheap and my daily deal email from palmetto state just came in and they are selling either PTAC or Del-ton complete rifle...

Re: Where to buy 100% wool blanket?

As said above, part of the problem is finding a REAL 100 percent wool blanket and not a 70/30. I know that many of the surplus blankets are not 100 percent wool.

Where to buy 100% wool blanket?

Simple question to anyone who can help. I have googled and can't really seem to find one on the cheap. I am looking to buy a couple 100% wool blankets for relatively short money and can't seem to find a good reliable place. Any suggestions from those out there that know of a place would be much appr...

Re: Sig Sauer sp2022 9mm

I am aware that I am a little late to the party on this thread, but thought I would share in regards to picking up more mags. I am kind of a mag whore myself and won't own a gun unless I have at least 5 mags for it and prefer 10. I had an older sig pro in .40 and loved it, but mags are expensive. CD...

Re: .22's in the World of Zombie Slayin'

Ok i am a huge fan of the .22 and as i stated before in my other .22lr thread I think very highly of it's potential and all of the uses as a great survival tool. Everyone should have one. Get a good .22 rifle and 5k rounds or so without breaking the bank. All that being said, I think the hardest lau...

Re: the good ol' .22lr

The .22LR is the only semi-auto rifle you can own in the UK, so to bug in or bug out I see it as essential, the rifles themselves are very light, my Ruger 10/22 with folding stock and alloy silencer weighs nothing compaired to my Ruger M77 .22-250, I Know which one i'd rather have on my back all da...

Re: first rifle

how about a good ol' .22 rifle? As discussed in another thread on here, I believe everyone should start with the very versatile and affordable .22. Just my opinion.

Re: the good ol' .22lr

I recently purchased a Marlin 60 .22LR, and put just under 200 rounds through it today, and I love it. With no optic or scope, I was hitting a paper sighting target at 50 yards. And getting an amazing grouping fast firing at 20. I'd recommend that gun to anyone, and it's just under $200. And gettin...

Re: the good ol' .22lr

I'm another fan of the humble .22 rifle. It will take any small game and even a deer if need be. I've read of moose being taken with them but it takes a lot of tracking afterwards. early in my preparedness experience I figured if pressed to live out of a canoe I'd bring a .22 rifle and a long barre...

Re: the good ol' .22lr

If you bug out, the weight alone of .22 vs a larger calliber ammo is reason enough. Coincidentally, I've been wanting a legitimate reason to weigh some ammo, and this seems as good a reason as any. I have taken the liberty to weigh some common calibers of ammunition I had laying around for anyone w...

Re: Survival Firearm Battery Roll Call

Sorry, Chris, but you're not a unique and beautiful snowflake. ;-) I'd actually agree with you on both your priorities (a duty grade handgun and .22 rifle) and on your choice of specific firearms. Actually, my list would go 1) Duty grade handgun with gear and ammo 2) Reliable .22 with irons, scope,...

the good ol' .22lr

I just finished replying to a thread in the handgun section and pretty much wrote a small novel about my beliefs on how important a .22lr rifle is to a survivalist especially one on a tight budget. I think that everyone should buy above all else and before anything a reliable .22 and a crapload of a...

Re: Saw these for sale today

A guy posted on another baord that he lives where J&G is. He went out and looked at them and said they were in "Real rough shape". So be careful. For that price I wouldn't doubt it. I am not in a position to buy any firearms right now due to the fact that my line of work has me moving around a lot ...
