Re: Wintergheddon 2013 (18-20 January)

upon further thought, I will be running a new set-up this year. it is probably best if I show up saturday morning and set up in the light. I shall see you all then.

Jamoni., if you need a ride, I can take you then. LMK.

Re: Wintergheddon 2013 (18-20 January)

I might be showing around then. In fact, I could probably use a lift, as I might not have a vehicle yet. Where you at friend? I will probably arrive closer to 6, maybe later if I drive you, but I'm fine with that. I'll either be at work, which is in Valley Park near 270 and Big Bend, or at home, wh...

Re: Wintergheddon 2013 (18-20 January)

I was really hoping to spend some time in Braxton's hole. I figure that's fair, considering all the time he spent in your holes last year, but please don't tell me how that works out... If that is the case, I think I'll head out saturday morning then. I could use the scratch otherwise earned ...

This: http://www.ozarktrail.com/ is one of our few options. I have never been, but I want to. Also, there is http://mostateparks.com/park/roger-pryor-pioneer-backcountry . again, have not been, would like to, though. other than that, some state parks have hiking trails and stuff, but closer to what ...

We are different than most websites in quite a few ways. I don't think that is a bad thing.

Re: Wintergheddon 2011! Jan 14-16, Cuivre River State Park

It's time to go freeze our asses off in the hinterlands of Missouri yet again, ladies and Gentlemen! We are returning to Cuivre River, the site of our hard-won victory over winter last year, which we only prevailed in after suffering multiple casualties. Hopefully they served as a lesson learned fo...

I am definitely down for pre-wintergheddon training. I just got my new tent, and should have almost everything else by the end of November, or early Dec. at the latest. My gear will need a good shakedown before the big day.

Re: relocating intake

2.9 is a v6 Sorry, operating on old info, then. As far as I knew, Rangers still only had a 2.8L I-4, 3L V-6, and a 4L V-6. I have been out of the daily automotive happenings since 03, and I keep having to remind myself how long ago that was. Even if the 2.9L is slightly smaller than the 3L, there i...

Re: relocating intake

But you gave me an idea...I have about a 1.5" gap between the cap and the cab, can I run the intake under the body, up between the cab and the cap, and above the cab? I'd have to make a thin, wide tube to fit there, like maybe an inch thick and 8-10" wide... possible, maybe, but I don't know that I...

Re: British sniper kills 2 Taliban from 1.5 miles out

experts say the terrorists wouldn't have even heard the shots. Shouldn't the term "experts" be replaced with "anyone that passed their 8th grade science courses"? I think so. I was told you can't hear it at 600 yards. If that is true, then obviously, you can't hear it at over four times that range.
