Re: strangest thing you have ever seen
On the subject of strange people at urinals, I was at a bar during crawfish season a few years back. I went to go take a piss, and this guy decides to use the urinal right next to the one I was using, despite the fact that the bathroom was empty. Then, he proceeds to overtly meatgaze me for about f...

Re: strangest thing you have ever seen
Oddly enough, I believe someone much earlier in the thread had the same thing happen...but I just saw a wild turkey in the parking lot of a Wendy's. This entire area is concrete urban sprawl. One of the largest bucks I've ever seen managed to run out in front of me by the local concrete factory... ...

Girded my loins. It was agonizing. I had to bite down on a dishtowel to keep from screaming.

My truck will eat sand dunes for breakfast, snack on mud, and go through a shallow creek like Amy Winehouse through a bottle of Darvocets...all bone stock 'cept the all-terrains. But damned if I can get more than 15 mpg out of her unless I'm driving 70 on the freeway. All this from a v6 no less...

I forgot to mention kolaches. And spicy tuna rolls. And bloody rare sirloin steaks. And crunchy cheetos with louisiana hot sauce on them. And Lone Star beer.

Fajitas
Here is my secret recipe, divulged for your benefit. Be the hero of your next cookout, or make "Mexican Night" something better than one of those Taco Bell kits. Get ahold of some beef skirt. Beef skirt and only beef skirt is used to make fajitas. Trim off the silvery connective tissue. Leave some f...

Re: strangest thing you have ever seen
I guess tonight qualifies. I was fishing a local creek, and kept hearing strange voices and noises from the woods nearby. There were no people around, nor any reason to believe people would be in that patch of woods at that time. I would hear indistinct shouting, and a sound like someone hitting a c...

Re: would you release the inmates?
Hell yeah I would release them. In a zombie apocalypse, I daresay I would want them on my side. Who is better at killing, evading capture, and outright savagery than the felonious underclass? Traits considered repugnant in civilized times are quite useful in SHTF.

Re: strangest thing you have ever seen
Not super strange, but while gar fishing the other day, a four-footer came out of nowhere, ignored the big chunk of cut bait on my hook, and proceeded to attack my float, tearing it to little pieces. I swear tht fish floated there and looked right at me afterward. I think it just wanted to fuck with...
