Re: Wuuut! Tactical Crossbow
Guys, you should not forget that the six-shots-per-minute is the sustained rate of fire, measured based on 100 consecutive shots. Few longbowmen would be able to shoot 100 arrows withing 962 seconds, it is too exhausting. Plus, don't compare a crossbow to a bow. Bows do have the advantage to shoot m...

The Adders have safely arrived in Hamburg at the port, now the container is unloaded for customs inspection. We will ship first, latest second week in January.

Re: Pump Action Bows - Tool or Toy?
Other platforms are suicide for creators like me. No recommendation engine, no monetization, no traffic.
I am now generating the family income through my store (gogun.de), but I need to maintain my reach. YouTube is the only option unfortunately.

Pump Action Bows - Tool or Toy?
Haven't been here for a while as I am super busy these days. My channel, the GoGun corporation that used to be my tiny little store and my ongoing battle against YouTube's unfair censoring/demonetization policies... I am literally working three jobs at once. I have been working with repeating arrow ...

Re: Wuuut! Tactical Crossbow
Haven't been here in a while but I am happy to see you like the "Adder" I designed together with Ek Archery. It is based on the RX platform but sports a magazine, allowing very quick follow-up shots. This is the crossbow that I was looking for all those years. - High rate of fire - Easy to cock . Wo...

Re: Ganzo knives
Ganzo knives are really inexpensive and the value for the money is good. However they are not indestructible. I made a "knife tournament" a year ago, with plenty of Ganzo models in it. In general they performed OK but not great. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=izYS5qiErzo http://www.youtube.com/watch...

Re: Lottery: Win a "Baby Hook" slingshot!
Wow! Interesting to see that the 2 cent coins actually corroded... BTW it is welded, the epoxy is only used to put on the coins so the ugly welds are covered. The bands seem to be in good shape too. After eight years. Gives me hope for the Zombie apocalypse. Maybe my rubber stash WILL keep me alive...

Developing a FOLDING Zombie skull hammer
I made many skull crushing things in the past. My "Zombie Hammer with skull ejector" was a major success and I assure you, it is a very effective weapon against the Undead. This is actually "Zombie Go Boom" confirmed. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PHD2dsMT6Hs But it is a bit unwieldy. Much like a b...

Re: Can someone help id this knife model?
This is a very typical hunting knife that was (probably) made in Solingen/Germany, THE most important knife city in the country. Many well known knife manufacturers are in Solingen, Herbertz and Böker for example. They often have a loooong tradition. But there were also many small companies - some c...

Thanks for all the praise!
I have to say from all the things I made, this one is probably THE most fun. It works so well, you just want to keep on shooting and shooting.

Re: Interesting take on "whistling" Roman sling bullets
I think you can debate endlessly about such issues as deformation, energy transfer and so on. Even physicists would argue about that. All those effects exist but it is next to impossible to figure out how much of an impact they have on the result. That is EXACTLY why I performed this field test. Tur...

Re: HPA Air Rifle
I can really recommend the FXAirguns PCP rifles, made in Sweden. They have power, but what really makes them great is their accuracy. They are so accurate because of the great design, excellent manufacturing quality and also by no small means by their superior barrel technology. The FX barrels aren'...

Re: Interesting take on "whistling" Roman sling bullets
Did you guys see this video of mine, recorded in South Carolina a few years back? Muscle operated weapons CAN achieve the same (or better, almost the same) momentum as a .44 Mag. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tLxnNP-ycVQ Of course a .44 Mag revolver has many advantages over a sling - like much fast...

Re: Interesting take on "whistling" Roman sling bullets
Unless they had JoergS doing the slinging for the tests, I'm very much doubting they got anywhere near .44 magnum levels. My guess is someone got the numbers wrong and just went "Eh, screw it." instead of getting the proper numbers from the data. Well, did you guys see this video of mine? http://ww...

Re: My wood sword vs. Storm Crow's masterpiece
The wood I used is European dogwood, Cornus Sanguinea. It is the hardest wood native to where I live (Germany of course). More like a bush rather than a tree, very hard to find a log thicker than, maybe, 6 to 8 inches. It actually sinks in water, even when properly dried. The tatami felt like NOTHIN...
