Re: ARES Defense Systems SCR: a 50 state legal AR15 Alternat
This seems too little too late. I live in a ban state and everyone I know that wants an AR already built a compliant model years ago. I would have to see something more to spend the money. Just sayin.

Re: New Bug Out/In Rifle... Right place right time
I live in rural Kalifonia. Rural CA is a lot different then SanFran. I couldnt have made that post panic deal here. I saw AR's at a gun show going for $3500 or more. I love my stag. But I almost ran home and got it to sell. If my wife hadnt made so much money selling paracord bracelets at said gun s...

The town I live in was a lumber camp until San Franciscans "bugged out"after the 1906 quake. Now its a small mountain town that used to be a medium sized city. I worry a lot about people heading for the hills again and ruining the place I live. Im really only one bad earthquake away from some dude t...

How big is your laptop? I have a MOAB6 and it carries a 10.1 tablet and netbook with no issues.

Question on the paladiums. What is the life on these? They look like those israeli boots. I want them if they will last a few years.
Edit to get OT for a sec: +1on the converse if your looking for a twelve inch boot.

Re: 10,000 Rounds of Steel VS Brass
Sounds like a waste. Everyone knows federal is a great round. I coulda told ya that without setting fire to $ 4000 worth of ammo. Try 12,000+. IIRC, it was about 4k per casing tested. And it wasn't really "Federal Vs The World", it was more "Fed brass cased vs Steel Laq vs Steel Poly" I meant 4K fo...

Id love to run a socom or beowulf upper. But I just dont have a practical need for it that justifies the cost. That said I really want a CMMG .22 bolt carrier.

Re: Kelty Falcon 4000 review.
Just shitty. Usually a fanny pack is wide and slim. This thing sticks out almost as far as it is wide. Constantly pulling on your belt line. Better as a sling but still shitty. Like I said, I plan on replacing it with a MOAB6 sling pack attached with that rush tier strap system. Hopefully it will wo...

Hey guys, Im back now.
Hey, I have let my life get in the way for two long. I find that my life goes in cycles of actually prepping for awhile and then talking about it on the internet. My prep closet is pretty stocked, I have almost 400 gallons of water stocked. Things are good. Im currently working on a project to make ...

Stevens is like a generis savage. Im not saying that as a negative thing, My hunting rifle is a savage 30-06. Had I known about stevens at the time I may have bought that instead. I love savage firearms and I love the flat trajectory of the 30-06. That being said every shooter needs to start with a ...

So I've read the this entire thread but can't remember seeing this mentioned before. Anyone know a tailor/seamstress that could make me a Utlikilt style kilt out of fabric I provide? Even better, anyone know if UK does custom orders? I have a large section of tartan cloth that was originally for us...

US gold dollars are gold plated nickel. Both of tjese metals have practical uses in the PAW. Having mountains of cigarettes that I dont smoke or bunchs of mini boozes I wont drink seems like a bad idea. What if the S never HTF? Having an ammo can full of money seems more valuable than a bunch of sh...
